As long as we have Ivan I believe that no one would dare come into our house or yard to take Cassie and Adie. We should have him for a good long time to come since he just turned 6. But what about when he goes? My husband and will not be able to handle a big dog anymore! Before we got Ivan we had a 13 or 14 year old boy walk right in to our back door whistling for Cassie. He didn't know my husband was home. DH grabbed this kid by the collar whirled him around and honestly threatened to kill him. The kid said he was looking for his own dog. I don't know how the kid thought his dog could unlatch our gate, come into the yard, and open our back door to get into the house but oh well. DH didn't turn him in but told him he didn't want to see him even in our neighborhood again. Cassie loves to lay on back of the couch looking out the picture window so I know this kid had seen her before. Oh yeah, he said his dog was a pit bull. I shudder to think what he wanted with Cassie!
I think when Ivan goes we will alarm the house and get some kind of camera set up like that one woman had. It sure got her dogs back fast!
