Haha. :) We are actually talking about increasing the batch size to 55 gallons. Last time I did 15 gallons. But, if I can buy in bigger bulk, my cost goes down quite a bit. I can't imagine a 55 gallon drum of shampoo! :) When I started making it by the gallon I never imagined I'd even be THINKING about 55 gallons! :)


Anyway, if I do make a 55 gallon batch, I'll certainly make gallon jugs! :)

I was going to give Tila a bath last night, but didn't get to. I gave her one tonight. I love it! It smells awesome! Her hair feels nice. It lathered really good, I used what I thought was moderate to me, but I think I can use less than what I used tonight. I tried the detangler spray as well. Love, love it! The other furbutts keep smelling Tila. lol. Weird question though, did anyone else's baby try to eat the shampoo. Tila must really love it, because she tried to. I didn't let her, but she tried.

Jada tries to lick it off my hands and when I am washing her beard and nose she tries to eat it too(must taste as good as it smells) I don't let her,but she usually gets at least on lick before I can stop her:D

It sure smells good, but must be tasty too. Tila too did get a lick in there. lol. I think she's getting annoyed with me, because I keep snuggling her and burying my face in her neck. Mmm, smells so good though. She looks awesome too.

Now it's my turn to jump in and rave! I got my sample sizes in the mail on Monday (very fast shipping btw). Finally got to try it tonight. He looks great. His coat seems straighter and not as wavy in the chest and he smells yummy!

I am really glad to read this.

I don't know if I'd call Jackson's hair cottony, because he doesn't really get mats. And the hair on his head is silky and gets greasy easily... but his hair is curly... so I'm glad to see you guys had success with it not being as poofy and wavy. Here's a pic of Jackson where you can kind of see the curlyness of his hair when it gets a bit longer...

Just bathed my lil stinky Snicky after a looooong walk and wow does he smell like a zillion bucks now!!!!! Yayyyyyy!!! One thing I LOVE about this product is how gentle it is. Not to mention how easily it rinses away. In the past I have bought some cheapy products that were very thin and watery, but you can tell this is a gentle formula and nothing is missing. I LOVE the smell! I love it!! Also, since Snick is so lil, a little goes a long way:)!!!!!

Going to rotate between this and Buddy Wash/Rinse. After about 5-8 baths, I get tired of the same smell LOL:rolleyes:. Even with my own shampoo/body washes! Always have to have several products available. I LOVE both smells of Yorkie Shine and Buddy Wash....

I ordered the sample size and love the smell and how it makes Cooper feel. However, Cooper only smells good for about 2 days...I must have a stinker on my hands..lol. Anyway, I was wondering if the detangler could be used to freshen him up. He doesn't tangle at all so I don't really need it for that. I want something to keep him smelling good in between baths. Do you think this would work?

You all weren't kidding on the super fast, lightning quick shipping. It feels like I placed the order just yesterday and here it is! I think I'm going to move up Kaji's bath day. I'll be back with a freshly groomed yorkie!

There are quite a few people I have order the detangler just as a mid bath "freshener" or brushing aid. It smells great and leave the hair soft, not sticky like coat colognes.

The smell goes away when we go for walks & they get an outside smell. It's like that w/every shampoo for us. We got the YorkieSheen & I LOVE it! It smells just like the Splash & Shine. Even if your pup doesn't tangle, you should still use some sort of spray to keep the hair from breaking when you brush.

DONE WITH BATH TIME! Kaji is smelling really nice, and his hair is smoother than I'd ever seen it after a bath. He has a cottony coat and his hair gets the major poofies after a bath. He is smoother and his hair is straighter than normal. An ailment we both share. :rolleyes: :p It smoothed out his hair so much that I can see where I went wrong with his haircut!:eek:
I just caught Kaji smelling himself! I think he likes the smell. :D So far, for me the smell is the only thing I have a slight complain about. It is a bit too strong for my nose. :( It's not full headache bad, but it is irritating my sinuses a bit. I will have a final verdict in a few days though. I think if I really like it and keep using it, I can get use to the smell and it won't bother my nose. I wanna see if Yorkie Splash and Shine lives up to the hype. I'll be smelling him all week!!!:D

Our product development has been completely customer based - I just had the idea of doing some fragrance free shampoo. :) The conditioner and detangler are very lightly scented, but the shampoo is nore scented (to mask the natural smell of the shampoo - which is very nutty). But, I think fragrance free shampoo coupled with the lightly scented conditioner would still smell great on a dry coat. I may introduce that very soon. :)

I hope my nose and I aren't putting you out. I'm really liking the Splash and Shine otherwise. Kaji is SOOOOO soft! he feels like a brand new teddy bear times 10! I can't stop touching him, much to his dismay. Poor little guy just wants to go to sleep and mommy can't keep her hands off him. I'm going to go bury my face in his back. :D

It actually would be easier to make a fragrange free version, and I think it would be cool to have that option. Lots of people have reactions to scents, so having the option would be easy and there are a few people who would actually prefer it.

You know we seem to be in reverse here the dogs used to sniff us & now we are doing the sniffing LOL :D keep up the good work Sarah

Ok...great...I'm going to try it. I went ahead and ordered it before I saw the responses..I just couldn't wait. I just I hate how Cooper smells when we come back from walks. He actually stays smelling good until we go outside..everytime he stinks when we come back in.

I haven't had an issue with the smell and I seem to have an issue with alot fragrances. I have to be careful on what I buy..lotions, hairsprays, anything that has a scent. I do however think I may be allergic to one of the ingrediants. Everytime I bath Cooper I start wheezing and have to use an inhaler. I just like the way he looks and smells so I'm hoping I'll get over it. Maybe if I'm around it enough I'll get immune to it...lol I went ahead and placed another order for shampoo and conditioner and also going to try the detangler. I really do like the product.

Waiting for the next sale and going to be placing my order after reading all of the reviews on YT!

Ok so lastnight I was reading the reviews on this product and over 90% was all positive but the only minor complaint was that it was watery.

I was not up all night thinking about this lol. BUT this morning when I washed my hands I used Dial Foam Pump. You guys can buy 1 of these dial foam pump soaps and dump it out or use it and then pour in the Yorkie Splash shampoo in there!
It WILL lather like a foam and Im pretty sure you will be using MUCH less of the shampoo and it wont be wasted.

About a year ago I bought 2 of these Dial Foam Pump for our bathrooms.
I looked how watery the soap seemed but of course the secret was the pump, it whips it up and you get a nice thick foam soap.
What I started doing was NOT buying more of this soap because the Dial Foam was way more expensive than regular thicker liquid hand soap.
So I did a simple experiment. I added 75% water and filled 25% of the bottle with regular liquid soap. Guess what? It worked exactly the same!
So now I spend about 10cents for a whole bottle instead of $3
So I'm thinking the Dial soap company spent another .25- .50 cents on this pump and are selling 75% less soap.

Please go out and get yourselves a Dial Foam Pump, use it or toss it out and fill it with the Yorkie Splash shampoo. It will foam up nicely and no more wasting!

After all the reviews I think I am going to wait for the 2 oz sample bottles and try this on Monica and Angel. They have very nice long hair but the smell does not last as long.

I was going to contact the Owner of this shampoo about this but I realize there will be more cost to add this style of pump.
