just gave magic a bath with yorkie splash and shine and i really like it so far. he came out very shiny and silky not at all fly away like with some shampoos and conditioners. i did not find the shampoo to be watery at all. i poured some down his back and it was enough for his whole body and it lathered very well. also rinsed out really fast. i did use more conditioner than shampoo but i maybe used to much. i have used many different kinds including the minksheen (he did not look as nice as he looks now) and he also goes to groomer once a month and i do him once a month. he never looked this nice after the groomer. i am so happy with his coat right now i don't know what to say. if this continues i have found my forever shampoo and conditioner. thanks for such a great product.:aimeeyork |

Ok I was impressed before with the splash and shine. I ordered the bigger bottles and the Yorkie sheen detangler. Get this, Bogie mats pretty bad, since using the shampoo and conditioner he is gradually getting fewer mats. I have given 3 baths with splash and shine so far. I very rarely let him wear shirts because if I do it is at least an hour of dematting. I always put shirts on when they get there Advantage multi flea and heart worm meds, simply because it is too hard to keep them away from each other for 1hr so they won't lick each other. Well yesterday was meds day and I put their shirts on. I let them sleep in them last night and took them off this morning. I am speechless it took me maybe 15 min to comb Bogie out. he had a few small mats under his neck and in his armpits. I took the Yorkie sheen and just put a little on the mats as a I came to them. I just ordered the big bottles set & detangler now i can't wait for it to get here, i am excited about it helping with mats since Micah gets them all of the time. :) |
ya'll sold me - I've been using CC Systems for years now - and have a bunch of others that sit in my cabinet so will start with the trial size.... WalnutHill - are you going to offer the sample sizes again ? Things here are a bit tight so I'd love to try then buy Thanks ! |

We tried ours over the weekend.Kayti looks so shiny and nice(silk coat).Khloe(modified coat) seemed harder to comb out.She seemed more tangled than usual.But once I got it combed out she looks very shiny too.They also smell nice too .Now I am waiting to see how long they smell good.I love the smell of it,and my DH keeps smelling her and saying they smell so nice and clean. |

My experience has been that it does take a few washings for the skin oils to balance out in order to really notice a difference in using the organic shampoo. So, the first bath may not seem that different than normal shampoo, but after a couple of weeks, the difference is amazing. :) It took about 4 weeks with Clark (but he gets a LOT of products in his hair). I have noticed with him that his hair is less wavy than it used to be and it isn't as "poofy" as it was before. |

I had ordered a larger size of the shampoo and conditioner, and the detangler a few weeks ago. I have been meaning to try the detangler, but it has not been bath time, but Saturday after the snow Haley was tangled pretty bad after playing in the snow then drying off. I used the detangler on her. It worked great! The tangles came right out, and she looked clean too. I was going to put her in the tub Sat. night, but after using the detangler she was so pretty and white. She smelled soo good with no tangles I skipped the bath. She still looks great and smells great! I love this stuff!! |
I just recieved my order yesterday and so far I have bathed three of my yorkies in it and I must say I love it. It has a wonderful smell and thats a plus because by the time im finished bathing five yorkies I small just like what I washed them in as well LOL.... I think that it rinses off well and a little goes a long way especially with the shampoo. I was concerned at first about purchasing the 8oz bottles since I have five to bathe so i went with the 16oz and I was surprised how little you have to use and how well it lathers... You can feel how clean they came. I also liked the detangler but wished it came in a bigger bottle because it seems I have to use more of that. I just love this though its such a wonderful product and I will continue to buy in the future! My babies smell so yummy!! Thanks:thumbup: |

gotta chime in :) got ours- bathed Layla yesterday. I was not crazy about the initial smell- it was ok- kinda reminded me of a holistic store- anyways- dried her and she smells DEVINE! LOOOVVVE it- and CRAZY soft. Layla has a cotton coat so i never expect shine but she is SO fluffy and soft! Great great great product. I love that it is natural and a home business :) |
New Website Okay everyone. I am launching a new website! Same address, but it is now an e-commerce site Yorkie Splash and Yorkie Shine | Yorkie Shampoo and Yorkie Conditioner I am about 24 - 48 hours away from being able to accept credit cards directly on the site, too. I have everything approved, just waiting for instructions as to how to set it up. :) Anyway, I hadn't intended to launch it just yet, but for whatever reason, my server did it for me, so, it's up and running (notice I am still awake this late, still tweaking it). LOL And, keep the suggestions coming! I am probably gonna order bigger detangler bottles the next go-round. :) |

Love the new site.... One suggestion and maybe i just missed it.. I think you need a review section. You will have so many GREAt reviews that it will help new customers to make the decission to buy... Just a thought.... |
OK, just finished reading most of these posts. I ordered a sample of S/C but haven't tried it yet. Have couple questions/comments. Haven't found the answer to the question about product being tearless or not..... I personally prefer the bottles currently being used as opposed to airless. I would think you'd have to raise your prices for the airless. But don't know.... Glad your sales are up. |

Thanks for the info. It's reasuring. When I give Tabitha a bath, I try to avoid the eyes, nose, & inside of ears. I've only had a yorkie for 4 months (she's 6-8 yrs young). Still very nervous when bathing her, shes so little (9 lbs) compared to my husband's 40lb beagle. He has a short coat. And it's always been naturally shiney/slick. Thought I'd try this S/C on him, too. The good smell doesn't last long w/the shampoo I'm using on him. |
I can't use the shampoo or the conditioner anymore :(. I gave one of our puppies a bath yesterday, and the scent made my eyes burn, my nose burn, and gave me a scratchy feel to my throat. Sure wish I had just bought the samples instead of the big set, and the Sheen (which I for sure won't even try). I am very sensitive to smells and such. Wish I had a better review, but at least all the rest are great reviews :). |
