| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Unfortunately, this is true. When we opened our package from Maddy (and Sarah), there was a large flat white envelope that I snatched and put up high so Taffy could not feast on it along with her snack of tissue paper. (Guess you guys know where this is going, don't you?) The envelope was "safe" and we got caught up in all the goodies in the box. Days and even weeks have passed and lo and behold, the envelope has restled safely under what became an assortment of daily stuf we lay down. Sarah, thank for the for the wonderful poem about Yorkshire Terriers! I had so forgotten about it that it was a super surprise when I opened it as I couldn't for the life of me recall what it could be! (Now I know those of you with super organized and super clean houses are probably appalled right now but it adds a bit of intrigue to every day around here to find things we've lost or forgotten about...LOL) I love the poem and it brightened my day. (This is also why my buddy, Christina, will be getting a small box eventually with a few items I forgot to pack...including a couple of personalized things...oops! I'm so fortunate she has a great sense of humor.) Last edited by TOY; 06-19-2009 at 12:37 PM. |

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | LOL...you guys didn't know me "when" but I managed to lose our economic stimulus check for about 7 months! There's no telling how many times I overlooked it as I was searching because I was looking for a brownish looking envelope like a tax refund comes in. Those kind of "panic" searches are not fun and I generally don't find what I've misplaced in a "safe" place until after I quit looking. However, as my husband says...it's never boring around here...LOL |

| Haha, that's ok. I didn't write the poem anyways! I am glad it made you smile today, so its a good thing it was MIA for awhile |

Every day around here is like an adult Easter egg hunt (except I literally forgot about having that envelope until I moved stuff that had gotten placed on top of it. Thankfully it was on a flat surface and wasn't crinkled.) Today's hunt is for the unopened new bottle of ketchup...sometimes buying in bulk doesn't help around here...LOL (I actually think it may be in the pantry which is naturally the last place my husband would look. I haven't joined the search just yet...LOL) Have a good weekend! | |
