2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | sewingpartsonline.com w/ Videos Awesome site, most but not all parts come with a video on how to use it. I'm sure those of you who have been sewing for years and years have seen it before. Sewing Machine Parts, Serger Parts, Sewing Parts - Sewing Parts Online I came across this wonderful site when I was searching for a even feed walking foot that Aymee suggested for use with stretchy fabrics. This one foot cause my eye and I love it . . it sort of does the same thing that a ruffle foot would do without all the complicated stuff. Just not as much tucking, its called a Gatherer foot. There will be no more doing it the old fashion way for me if I can find it for my machine. Gathering foot; How To Use A Gathering Foot - YouTube Ruffler foot; Great video How To Use A Ruffler Foot - YouTube

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | So cool! I wonder if I might like that better than my ruffler? Lol. As you know me and that thing clash. Thanks for sharing Dawn!

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Yeah me too Aymee. . . me and the ruffle are a No Go ! I like how you can put another fabric underneath the gathering fabric. That is so cool but it would take me a minuet or two (or a few hours) to figure out how I would use it once its done. That would take some brain power.

| A ruffle does that too when you put another piece of fabric underneath the foot... the top fabric gets gathered, the bottom fabric stays flat.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | I know, I saw that on the video. its Pretty cool ! The ruffle looks a little more complicated to do than the gatherer does. So, I think I'm going to order the gatherer for my machine.... anything to help other than the old fashioned way of doing would be a big help.
