| Skull Baby Jada Here is my creation out of the sooo cute Skull Fabric. I debated about how to make it and Tena gave me the idea of a jumper. I made this pattern by going by an existing jumper Jada has..I love how it turned out Thanks for the idea Tena!!! 100_3732.JPG 100_3733.JPG 100_3729.JPG 100_3731.JPG

| Thanks Rhonda!! I love the ribbon for fastening at the waist...no way of outgrowing a dress on this style

| No velcro and buttons on the straps. The ribbon threads through buttonholes on the waistband..you can pull it as taut as you want. I tied the ribbon in a knot before tying the bow. IDK how it could come loose. If they gain weight or lose weight you just loosen or tighten how taut you pull the ribbon Lisa loves no velcro for Sugar and Curri..so I have been experimenting with alternate ways to fasten. I have been doing buttons and buttonholes, but measurements have to be so exact or they don't fit. DBlain posted about the ribbon tie dresses and I just ran with it I did a pink and brown print basic harness dress with a double skirt yesterday the same way...I don't think I will ever do velcro again and I may alter Jada's existing dresses to ribbon closures.

| OMgosh Michelle.....I absolutely LOVE IT!!! It's just what I pictured in my minds eye I can envision, you can do It's perfect....amazing job!! I think I would need a jumper to look at too, then I would try it. But no jumper's here I tried usng my buttonhole attachment for my machine want to put buttonholes for harness wear, but can't make that work either Jada looks just gorgeous in her beautiful jumper!

It took a lot of trial and error to learn to use the buttonhole attachment. I just kept trying on scraps of fabric. Sometimes I still mess it up

| You did a great job on the dress Michelle, love the jumper effect and the ruffle, Jada looks very pretty in it. I am glad I posted the dress I saw, I thought it might be a good alternative to velcro but was not sure if it was something everyone on here already knew about. I am so happy it worked out for you.
