NFL Jerseys for our Dogs :) Who has them?! I know there was a thread somewhere... I am going to buy Jackson a Ravens jersey finally and was wondering if there was a good site to buy them from. Sizing seems so weird. I've read reviews on some that they can run small. So I just wanna be sure it fits. Jackson tends to be such a weird size anyways, and always in between. According to this one: Baltimore Ravens NFL Pet Dog Purple Jersey Shirt M | eBay He would be a medium: Size Length Girth Neck Medium 14-15" 16-20" 11-14" But I dunno... his length is probably right at 14.5", girth is around 17.5" and neck is at 12". But if it runs small, that means I'd need a large. Anyways anyone who has bought these from a site, can you tell me the size of your baby and the size you bought and what site? |
Petco sells them, it might be safer to get one you can return, but it's $7:00 more. I personally would get the size the chart indicates. I always thought they ran big. The small NFL and NHL jerseys I saw at our sports store is wayyyy too big for Geno. |
Too funny, I was just out trying to find a Ravens jersey for Cody this past weekend! Petco did have jerseys, but they were all too big for Cody. I can't find an X-Small for him to save my soul. I've tried online too.... still no jersey for my boy. They did have good sizes for Jackson though (I think!). |

It's not the same one you see in stores but it's just as good and comes in an XS. I don't know why they make 2 different kinds of each teams jerseys for dogs but luckily they do cause the other one runs big. These aren't as big and they have more options as to size. I am planning on getting Geno a Steeler one of these in an XS but I was just waiting until he got fully grown so I didn't end up having to buy two in case he grew out of one. For now, he wears a little steelers shirt I found at one of our sports stores. :) |

I got one for my Jimmy! Luckily enough it was "dropped" in the food donation box here at work last year, well before I got Jimmy. I sent an email to everyone in the building asking who dropped it in there and no one replied. I had it in my cube for a year hanging where everyone sees it when they walk to the lunch room, no one claimed it So, I got Jimmy and clicked my heels! Brit, I know Jackson is a bigger guy like Bubba and Sissy but those who have tiny one might want to try Build a Bear. I got Bubba a hockey jersey there when he was little. |

1 Attachment(s) I think they run small for the LISTED measurements in the size chart in terms of the length, but everything else seems dead on. Rory and Lane wear everything from an XS to XL, depending on the brand, so I never would say they run big or small just because they wear a small/medium/large in most brands - I hope that makes sense. Dog clothes are anything but uniformly sized! ;) I would get Jackson a medium. Rory and Lane wear a small, which fits pretty snug, both with 9.5" neck, 16" and 15" girth, and 13" and 12" long, respectively. Rory is currently 11 lbs (but we need to beef her back up closer to 12 so she isn't so boney) and Lane is 10. Jackson is sooo weird, he's always in between sizes when it comes to EVERYTHING! "Smalls" are generally much too small, "larges" are way too big, but the "mediums" are always snug on him. Even when it comes to toys. He loves those Cuz toys but he rips the small ones open very quickly, but the medium is WAY too big for him to enjoy. lol. I do think you are right - for these jerseys, it seems medium would be best. But I guess I'd better make sure and find the time to get into Petco and see what brand/sizes they have. |

Went and tried on a medium on him (Hunter brand NFL jersey) and it was too tight. :( It got on him, but did not seem too comfortable. Store did not have a large in stock. but I saw a pet Cowboys jersey by the same brand at Kmart and by the looks of it, it seems it would fit him. So I ordered a large Hunter Ravens jersey on amazon. :) Hope it gets here before Sunday! |
