Senior Yorkie Talker | Thanks She is a very good mommy. I don't know which I will keep for the show ring yet. Going to wait to choose until they are older. Both should be very nice. The male is beautiful and is a Am/CN Champion. Ricki

Senior Yorkie Talker | tails My vet does not dock tails at 3 days. He wants them 1 week old. He said it is to much stress on them at 3 days. I myself have heard of a couple that had died after docking. He even uses novacane and puts 1 stitch in the tail. They turn out beautiful. He is very good. They were docked the day I took the pictures (after the pics.) Ricki

| Yes, even Ann Seranne (one of the Mayfair ladies) stated to wait. Yorkies can become too stressed out when tails are docked too soon. I know most vets say 3-4 days old, but they are not experts with yorkies. Ann Seranne says day 6 is the best!! We just had our babies done the evening on day 5, since I had a prior engagement already scheduled on their day #6. They did fine. Congratulations Ricki - your babies look beautiful! T. |
