| My babies are also four weeks old (born 8/19). Only one of them has ears that will stand up alone. I posted another thread and did some other research. First, bought a little trimmer and trimmed their ears down, inside and out, then I tried the Breathe Rite strips cut in half and glued to the inside of their ears, large side down, with eyelash glue. Either I didn't do the strips correctly, or something, but they just seemed to weight down their ears. So, I went on to the next trick, folding their ears in half and taping them. That helped a little. This morning, I took a longer strip of tape, added it to both ears and sort of connected them. I just took some pictures and can email you later if you like. I've had trouble posting photos on this website and frankly, I don't have time today to figure that out. I bought some of that really thin paper tape so it can be removed easily and doesn't add weight. My dam's ears are floppy, and I love her anyway, but I really want the pups' ears to stand. Good luck! |

| My first Yorkie, Prince, was nearly 5 months old before both his ears stood up. Boris, my mom's Yorkie (formerly my yorkie ) was about 12-14 weeks old when both his stood up. Nigel is 10 weeks and his are still down.

| They are all different. The litter I have right now all their ears were up standing before 4 weeks old and I didn't do a thing. Their ears are not exactly on the small side either. It seems like the smaller the dog will be at maturity the quicker they stand. These will be in the high 3 and 4 pound range. I am hoping they will grow into those ears though! |

| born with ears up!!!!!!!! my baby was born with ears up but i think they are drooping a little noww. she will be four weeks old on Tuesday. i hope they don't go down. My husband knows i love the erect ears and his first words when he first saw heer was, "look honey, her little ears are up". it was so cute. i doubt that I will be as lucky as to have her keep them up. if not, I will shave and tape. |
