| Thank you, Taylor. We swapped out Dutch's glass and metal bowls for the ceramic Snoopy themed set because of her water dance routine. The ceramics haven't discourage her dancing so far. We are going to continue to use them because they don't tip easily. She put on a long and serious dancing routine last night. It almost sounded like we had a calypso band playing. Eventually she empties the dish of all the water. Then it's no longer fun. |

So, I need a description of zooming. Dutch is pretty strong. Last night she tried to "redecorate" the summer quilt on the bed. She used her nose a bit, then got a good hold of it with her teeth and walked backwards to move it around. So, do tell about the zooming..... (Speak softly--I don't want to give her any ideas.)

| Definition of zooming yorkie, it's when they tear a$$ through the house at 100 MPH, running as if the devil was after them, stop, turn around and come zooming back lol, how I miss those zooming days lol. Water dancing lol my 3rd pup did that lol, I always used ceramic bowls and just put a 1/2 bowl of water, what a mess, but my girl always had fun watching the water flying all about lol.

Her pen is just a few feet away from my desk. We are letting her play in the pen with an empty water bottle. She gets a fresh empty bottle every day. This "play" is really more of a solo attack maneuver where she nudges it a little bit, and then pounces on it. We just returned from the vet. She was big enough for them to administer the rabies vaccine. Her vet really has this vaccine business down. Once again, she did not jerk or whimper. Lil Dutch didn't even look up--she was too busy licking the Easy Cheese off a tongue depressor. Right now, she's navigating a slightly oversized bully stick. Once she tires of that, suspect she'll sleep awhile.

| Sounds like she did really well with her rabies shot. What a trooper! Mine were always a little sore and very tired for a day.

Lil Dutch is sleeping trooper right now. I'm watching her closely. The doctor gave her some Medicam in advance of the two shots. I have some Adaptil on hand and can spray that in her pen if/when she begins to show signs of pain. My late sweetie had a bad reaction to her last series of vaccines. We spent some time that night in the ER. Very scary.

| Thank you. She's growing and growing. During our morning stroller excursions, little Dutch gets very excited when she sees folks, especially folks walking dogs. This morning she got to visit with FIVE dogs and her windshield-washer tail action was in full gear. Last night she took on her first C.E.T. oral chew. I know Dutch enjoyed it, but believe I was the one doing a happy dance! Dutch and CET2 200.jpg Last edited by KatysMom; 07-30-2018 at 06:36 AM. |

| Little Dutch's Happy Feet We strolled on over to the park this morning. Little Dutch couldn't mingle with the big boys, but we did stroll around the park perimeter. She was in awe. She woke up from her nap in a happy mood, and danced away in her water dish. Then she barked--needed more water. Little Dutch Happy Feet Crop.jpg |

| LOL her lil paws look drenched lol, and that face lol, puppies are so cute and funny. That's terrific you're taking her out to meet her new world, sights, smells, even if she can't mingle with the big boys at least she sees other animals and ppl. She sure is a little cutie.

Last night she learned that obsessive robotic paw-paw-paw trick--working away at the bed cover. I had pulled it over my head to keep her away from my glasses. They are an attractive nuisance; she has learned to remove them with speed and precision. Silly little girl Dutch. --KatysMom

| Thank you. We are having fun. We took two walks this morning. I really have to hold the leash to keep her from jumping and falling out. On the first walk, the we only encountered a dozen or so pigeons. She stood up on her hind legs and waved away, greeting them as though they were long lost friends. One the second walk, we ran into Thor (six month old golden) and Noodle (poodle mix). Thor ran in circles he was so excited. Not to be out done, Dutch did her best to imitate that action in the stroller. Noodle, who's 15, stayed at a distance, shaking her head. The second walk did the trick--she's laying down now--snug as a bug in a rug. imageedit_42_4003971360.jpg Last edited by KatysMom; 08-01-2018 at 07:50 AM. |
