Hey YT. Please give me some love. I'm in total need of support from you guys. If you read one of the threads I posted today, you'll see that I'm not having luck locating a Yorkie. The current puppy I have my eye on appears to be the runt of the litter (which isn't bad, just risky). Not only that, I'm not getting very good reception from you about this little boy:

So, I have come to you for your help. I have been on here for over a month and a half, getting up to speed on anything and everything about Yorkies. I have been thankfully educating myself through all of your experiences about what it might be like to have a Yorkie, and I know that this is the type of dog I want.

Here is what I am looking for:

Yorkshire Terrier - Male @ 12-15 weeks old by December 2007.

I would like to spend $1000-1500 (including shipping, if required). I know that shipping puppies is frowned upon by some breeders, so don't be offended; I have to broaden my search to outside of my home town, since I am not very happy with the results I am getting from my research. (I am located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.)

With Registration Papers (CKC/AKC).

Socialized and happy. (I will be the owner. This is not a Christmas present that might go to someone who might potentially have no desire to care for your pup.)

Prefer from Champion bloodlines, but not mandatory.

Of course, a baby face, silky straight coat of hair, and lifetime breeder support is a plus. I want to have a good relationship with my breeder.

I'm sure there are many other things, but these are the strict guidelines (which I'm sure the most of you have similar expectations) that I am sticking to.

I hope you find one real soon. With that budget you should find a nice puppy.

Me on the other hand very unlucky... I have a limited budget and can't find a female anywhere .

We're in the same boat. I'm so emotional now. I don't know if I'll find my male either. I hope you find a female that you totally love. It will be the best feeling in the world.

Where abouts are you Dani? Theres a few in Ontario on Petfinder. A cute little girl named Twiggy.

Wow, this breeder gives a lot of information. But it's a SHE! LOL That's ok. I might be open to getting a female, but right now I'm sorta set on a male...I'll keep in in mind, though! Never say never! LOL thanks!!!

Its a rescue, not a breeder. They need to find permanent homes for these dogs. I agree though, the males are much more affectionate. I have a male and ya he's a suck!

OH, yes, i wan't reading correctly. i hope they find a home for her! yes, i want a male for that same reason.

you can definately find a boy in that budget!!! just be patient! dont let anyone discourage you! and please read your other post about what i said!

i know a couple of breeder have little boys for sale that are less than 1500 or even 1000!

hello, i got my dog Bella from a breeder in tennessee. you should check out her page. www.yorkiegems.com she is so helpful she still calls and checks on bella, I have had bella for almost a year now.
