It is with a very heavy heart I am re-homing Emma. I adopted Emma from Stephanie at Brynstar Yorkies. Emma was being kept back for show but due to her small size and shy personality, Steph decided to place her. I purchased / adopted Emma when she was about 8 months old. I am the current owner of Emma.

I have another Brynstar baby (Bree in my avatar) and she is such a ray of sunshine and has the most darling personality and I was dying for another girl :p . Since they both came from the same breeder and home and grew up together, I thought they would be the best of friends. It has not quite worked out this way. :(

Emma has the sweetest, calmest, most loving personality but has shown aggression to Bree since day one. The aggression has come to the point where I need to keep them separated at all times. Steph and I discussed at great lengths possible ways to fix or work around this issue and we made the decision together the best thing for Emma and Bree is to place Emma in a different home. Since both yorkies are under a year old, we did not feel it was in everyone's best interest to keep them separated for the next 12-15 years (hopefully longer). I am stating this so it is clear that Steph knows I am placing Emma and in no way am I re-homing Emma without her consent and knowledge.

Emma has an spectacular pedigree (please see Steph's site: Champion Yorkshire Terriers, Yorkie Puppies For Sale, Yorkshire Terrier Puppies For Sale, Show Quality Yorkie Puppies For Sale, Champion Sired Yorkies for sale, Tiny Teacup Yorkshire Terriers For Sale and look for Macho Man's pedigree) and is GORGEOUS. I mean truly gorgeous. And she is great with my male yorkie, Bentley and has never showed humans any form of aggression at all. She is the sweetest lap dog you will ever meet and just wants to be right next to you all the time and give you kisses. She has small ears, beautiful face, perfectly level topline and a perfect bite. She is so far keeping her black silky hair and it rarely tangles. She is a total sweetheart to humans and male dogs.

Emma is SPAYED and all baby teeth have been pulled. Her teeth are sparkling white with only a teeny bit of tartar on her back, upper molars. I never sent in her AKC registration papers so her new mommy and/or daddy will be able to register her with whatever name they wish if "Brynstar's Emma" does not suit them (although I would prefer she get to keep her name because she does know it).

I am looking for a home where either (1) she is an only child or (2) there are only small, male dogs. I will be picky and will keep her before sending her to a home where I do not think she will get the attention she deserves

Emma is UTD on shots, wormings, has been given heartworm monthly (Interceptor), and will have her rabies shot before she leaves. Again, she is spayed and all baby teeth pulled which saves her new family a considerable amount.

The first three pictures I am attaching are courtesy of Steph at Brynstar. She was about 6 months old here. The next set are current (from this month). I attached the pictures from Steph because I could never get Emma to sit quite as well lol

thank you everyone for your kind words and support. i was kind of scared to post emma on YT because i was worried that the thread would turn in another direction and i truly appreciate all the kind words and people acknowledging steph and i only want to do what is best for emma :)

i wanted to state emma's price is negotiable to the right home. and YES to the people who have asked, she really is spayed :p . I would never want her bred - she is toooo tiny to have babies.

price is negotiable to the right home. not sure how low i am willing to go - it would depend on the home and the family she would go to and whether or not they are local

i also wanted to clarify something: if you could provide a loving home but your concern is you have another female, please PM, call or email me to discuss. emma gets along fine with my other female yorkie, miss buffey, and they play together nicely.

i stated that i would prefer her to go to a home where she can be an only child or there are only males because those would be my first two choices especially for someone i currently know very little about. but depending on the personality of the other female, emma would do fine with another female

* bree is very submissive which is why steph and i think emma picks on bree :(
* miss buffey is the alpha of the house - not aggressive or obnoxious but not a pushover either and emma and miss b get along fine

just wanted to clarify that in case someone with another female was interested but did not think i would consider that home. :)
