Man, sorry you are having to place Emma...I remember holding her and loving her....wanting her when she was a itty baby......the timing was all wrong. I wish I could come scoop her up, but I just brought Flirt home from Steph's....another female and she is tiny...charting to be 2.5 at 18 months, but she is very spunky they may not have a problem. I better quit looking....lol I LOVED Emma and I know with a new skin baby Flirt needs to be my limit for a long time. I think you are are doing the right thing....I know it has to be very hard, but both of your girls need to be able to run and play like you had intended. She may would grow out of this stage....both of her parents are very easy to get along with types but, I would hate to see you try to wait it out and see. Good Luck on finding the PERFECT home for that sweet baby!!

As i understand you cant show her because she is to small, but you said the brother is small also and you are showing him, just wondering.

The purpose of confirmation showing is to exhibit a dog who meets the standard and would be worthy of breeding. It is not a "beauty" contest.

Emma is spayed...even if she were size...she'd unable to compete in confirmation.

ummm first of all, i am not the breeder of emma - i am the current owner of emma. her breeder held emma back to show but once she stopped growing, decided to place her in a PET HOME. rose is showing emma's litter mate who she said is also small, but she never stated how small. he may be "small" but i doubt he is 3 lbs?

i am not showing either and i have no idea where you got this :confused:

rose's pup is between three and four pounds now closer I think to four.

That must be the one I read they are breeding,I know if they are nuerterd or spayed they cant be shown. I didn't know she was spayed, now I see why,just asking.

UPDATE!!!! Emma is in her new home
 
just wanted to let everyone know emma arrived safe and sound and is in her new home as of today. it was definitely a bittersweet day. i already miss her so much but know her new family is thrilled to have her home :love:

i hope her new mom updates us all on YT! :) thanks to everyone for your sweet words about emma and your good wishes to find her a wonderful home

oooh and emma is an only child and i can tell she is going to be sooooo spoiled!!!! ;)

Thanks! No, I haven't posted pictures yet because I need to a) fix my camera and b) get her groomed because she has a little ear infection and her medicine makes her fur all greasy around her face :( but I definitely want to!

Congratulations! You don't know how close I came to answering this ad! If I had not already had puppies to care for I am sure I would have. She is beautiful! Hope you all enjoy each other! Glad she is in a good home. I know that was a difficult decision for txrosegirl.
