| Looking for a Female Yorkie in South Texas I am looking for a female Yorkie in the mid to South Texas area so I can meet before I purchase. I really prefer to pick up because there are just way too many scams out there for Yorkie's it's just crazy!! |

| Thanks for all of your messages! I found my Yorkie! I have already put a deposit on her and can't wait to meet her. I found her with a breeder named Connie. Connies Puppieā€™s and should have her by the end of the month just as soon as I pay her in full she will be shipped to me from Kansas! I'm sooo excited! I'm having trouble finding a name for her though...Help! |

| Connie's puppies Hi Sweet: I agree with the last poster. Connie looks like a puppy store. She could not breed so many pups at home, and also you have to pay all money before you get dog??? I would be very wary of this one. |

| No kidding.... Make sure you don't have one of the "yorki poos" sometimes the babies can look purebred, but if the seller has multiple breeds it could be a mix!! You may not see it until the pup gets older-and then too late!!

| Connie's website is too professional looking and definitely looks like it would belong to a petstore. I would not be buying a pup from there. I agree, I had a yorkie-poo before and she looked exactly like a yorkie, even when she 10 months old she looked like a yorkie with floppy ears. I would think twice about this pup! just to add looking at her pups, some of those yorkies don't look purebred to me. The one has alot of white mixed in almost like a westi-mix maybe? | I wish I would of gotten notice about these replies sooner. My Lexy is AKC registered and I love her to death! She is so adorable but a lot smaller then expected. She was born 11/3/08 and only currently weighs 2lb 2oz. I took her to the Vet the next day after I received her to get a check up and because she had a horrible cough. Well come to find out she was born with CT from her chest to her lungs the more rare form of CT. Incurable and because of it she cannot be put under for surgeries ie. spay, nor have babies along with her weight being a factor as well. We are still running tests and she is going in for more exams and xrays in another week or so. We wanted to let her grow some more to get more clearer pics on the xrays then when I first got her at 1lb 13oz. She has already had to stay the night once at the Vet on IV fluids because she had stopped eating. I believe I got the runt of the bunch but over $500 so far in Vet expenses and that's because our Vet's a friend so we get discount, I still love her to death! She is spoiled beyond belief, I've only had her for about a month and she already has about 20 outfits, several toys and of course a beautiful pink bed! I am on a few Yorkie groups on Yahoo and they have helped me through my concerns, questions and several can relate. I'm a SAHM to her as my kids are school age so she gets lots of Mommy time! I just wish I could access YT from my blackberry like I do the groups. I'm not on the computer much. Thanks for trying to give me warning but yeah that lady's health guarantee is quack! BEWARE!!! |
