| grooming a show dog Ok i know ive made some mistakes with Scooter coat .. I have not wraped him.. i still have some fear since my first attempt ended up in a horrid rub out spot (not on scooter).. so I feed great food and supplements and i only brush damp .. but i did a almond oil followed by a vinagar rinse the night before the show and we ended up with a heavy coat and FLAKES so for all you with tipe or point by point directions on a show goom >> HELP thank you for any help .. also what do you use on you top knot mines a tad sloppy

| I like Coat Handler products! I use the Clarifying shampoo and rinse it out REALLY good and put a light ceam rinse on and rinse it out REALLY good also. A little Dawn dish soap on the ears cuts the grease really good also. Make sure you rinse REALLY good! Then I blow dry and use a little Ice on Ice or Vellus(not much). I wont give advise on top-knots as I am all thumbs. Mine are always crooked! I dont wrap except for the tail and top-knot hair. Hope that helps. Lynn
