First time showing Tomorrow will be my first time in the show ring with Mingtoy . Last week , she took 2 points toward her championship with my grandmother handling her . Actually , I am feeling nervous now because it will be my first time showing her but probably I'll be very calm in the show ring . |
Most all of us get nervous before a show, even the most experienced. I am sure you will do great. I want to wish you the best of luck. Be sure to let us know how you do. |

I remember my first time and it hasn't been that long ago. I was scared to death. Just remember that the dog can feel your nerves. It will be alright and you will love it especially if you get a ribbon or two. Good luck! |

Try gum, it' helps with the dry mouth from nerves. Just be careful not to get it mixed up with the liver, YUCK!!! Have a ball, it really is all about having fun with your dog. |

Try to get there a little early so you can watch the judge and see what he/she expects from the exhibitors. Each judge is different. Like everyone has said, have fun and make it fun for your dog! If you win, that's great, if not, it's not the end of the world...remember, it's just one judges opinion. Dog show people are a little crazy...that's why it's so much fun..lol! |

I really loved showing Mingtoy . She took 3rd place . I am very proud of it . Mingtoy's breeder was there , she was showing a beautiful little male . I'll be showing Mingtoy tomorrow too . Mingtoy's mother will be there tomorrow , she'll compete in the Special Only Class . |
I am glad to hear everything went well and you enjoyed showing your baby. That is what it is all about. How old is Mingtoy? I would love to see pictures of her or is Mingtoy a him, I really can't remember. I hope you do well tomorrow too. |

Mingtoy took another third place . Her mother went Best Opposite Sex . I had so much fun , I think I am hooked . My parents and Mingtoy's breeder offered to drive me at show sites if I want to continue to handle her . There are few dogshows around here during summer so I'll check the dates and the cities . |
Congratulations on the placement. It is so easy to get the show bug. I hope you and your little girl do well. I know pups have a hard time completing against the adults in full coat but sometimes they will get put up. Did you take any pictures? We would love to see pictures of your girl. |
congrats! i hope someday i will get the chance to show...i am currently taking handling class with MeiLing and she sure does enjoy...i don't know who enjoys it more...me or her...hehe |
