Yeah I'm glad to hear that Gabby came thru surgery fine and that she is awake and alert.
Prayers still continue for her.

I just love reading stories like Gabby's. Who needs Chicken Soup for the Soul when this story warms you up so much. :) I will continue to pray for Gabby.

Hope little Gabby sleeps well this evening at the hospital and her foster mom gets some rest too.

This is the time to begin prayers of thanksgiving. Sweet Gabby has made it through surgery and we have that to be thankful for. Pray without ceasing for healing and comfort fo Gabby, peace and rest for Ladyjane. Amen:ghug:

Happy news that Gabby's surgery went well. The hardest part is to leave them at the hospital and not be able to bring them home. I hope she is able to go home Thursday.

So happy to hear little Gabby is doing well after her surgery. We will keep her in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. Can't wait to hear more updates on the sweet little angel. Give her hugs from Lexi and I when you see her. Hope you get some much need rest Linda I am so happy she has you to love her and take care of her...your the best and we are all blessed to have you in our lives....hugs Cheryl & Lexi

Gabby is doing well. I visited with her this morning! I was a bit upset by the telephone call I received this morning but it turned out it was just a matter of words. The vet who was covering said that Gabby was "worse" today. No amount of explaining was working after that. What he was referring to was the fact that she cannot stand or walk and that was expected; but hearing that word, "worse" just upset me SO much. He also said she had not eaten well and seemed agitated. I decided to just go there and see her for myself. I took her some food. She was a bit shaky when she first came in, but settled down right away....and she ate quite a bit of the food I brought her! I definitely felt better ... and I am sure the visit helped her. :) He told me that he doubts she will be discharged tomorrow...but I have a feeling her surgeon, who will be there tomorrow, might go ahead and discharge her. I hope so.
