| Did you look through all of the pages? I'm wondering how reputable those rescues are. Especially, the one for the Danes. They have two listed at the bottom of the page and their adoption fee is $1,000. I know Danes are an expensive breed, but that's ridiculous. |

| I just looked at their website and their adoption application. I have a feeling these people are not a rescue, although I could be wrong. They do not even ask for a veterinary reference on their application. They ship dogs for a high fee. Just something unsettling about this one. If they are a rescue, they certainly do not seem to be concerned about where the dogs end up.

| ok, I did not look at the application form. I found a link to their website when I was looking at one of the shorkies listed on Petfinder -- I thought Petfinder only worked with legit rescues I did not notice the cost on the great danes - but did notice how little they were asking for many other dogs. Also, they write about saving dogs from kill shelters - but I suppose anyone can do that

| Anyone can actually list on Petfinder. They will remove them IF they find out they are doing the wrong thing. It takes people reporting these things. There was a breeder, from NJ I think, who was listing on Petfinder. They found out and removed them.

| Boy I dont know about this one but I can see that whoever was holding those poor dogs with the numbers on the cards could have cared less about them. Holding them by the neck and you could tell how scared they were..Makes me sad. |
