FOR SALE:Minksheen Shampoo and Front Carrier

Hi everybody, I selling a pair of things!!!
First, the so popular Minksheen Shampoo, 16 oz. This product has done wonders in many furbabies here with silky hair. Bengi's hair is a mix of cottony and modified silky, well, they point is that it didn't work that well on him. I paid $18.85 with shipping. I used it just once, so I'm selling it at $8 plus $6 shipping (A YT muember paid this much for shipping when she sold hers).
I'm also selling an Outward Hound front carrier (legs out). Never used. Bengi is a wiggle boy. Selling it for $17 plus $5 shipping.

Wait a minute!!! I purchased the shampoo directly from the manufacturer and also paid $18.85 for it!!!
Maybe Candybaby was confused, I didn't but it from her! I just PM her to see if I could use the picture she used when she sold hers here, because I was at work and I wanted to sell it too!!!!

I believe I was the one who bought the Minksheen from Candybaby.

$14 is still a good price! You are saving almost $5 from what you would if you bought it from the company directly.

Please....let's not slam each other. Anyone is free to charge whatever they want for an item regardless of what they paid for it. No one is making anyone buy it! It's called free enterprise.

Now if it was jacking up prices for a necessity during a time of shortage that would be gouging. But this is not something that is necessary. Whatever the market will bear.

So, SORRY I had SOOOOOOOOOOOoo many people contact me about it I forgot who actually bought it. Ellie81 DID NOT buy it from me, all she did was asked to use the picture :)

It works great! I love it! They stay much cleaner looking for so much longer with it. I am tempted to buy more from ellie, but I need to cut back on my spending.

now - HOW do we get samples of this stuff ?? anyone know ??
I wrote them 2 times and nothing...:( Not that I need any more shampoo thanks to a few people like Kat, CJ125 and luvmysissy :D :D ...but it's nice to try different ones...it's like a mission with me to find that ONE good shampoo for Miss Chanels difficult coat

Why don't you call them? I had a problem with my payment and I called and they answered right away. Maybe if you talked to them directly, they will send you the sample.

that's actually a good idea ...why didn't I think of that ??? :p :p ...after reading so much about it I'd like to TRY it but not get a whole bottle until I know how it works on my 2...Thanks :)

Thats smart getting a sample, that's what I should of did instead of buying a whole bottle and it not working on my furbies.

I read quite a few people here got free samples ....I've been really lucky....Kathryn sent the girls some Crown Royal samples - luvmysissy (jodie) sent them some really nice Happytails sample bottles and I really like it - and just the other day CJ124 sent some PP and Cowboy Magic sample bottles (which I NEED to try still) so it's not like I NEED anything....Isn't that sweet of them ?? :) :)

and yet... here I am thinking of begging the MFG to try Milksheen lol -

awwww...you're so sweet !! I'm going to try to call them but I'm really just whining about not getting the free sample I requested :D :D lol - I really don't need it but thank you so much for the thoughtful offer .....That's what I love about this site...people have the biggest hearts :)

I wrote minksheen and asked for a sample and he wrote back like 20 minutes later telling me he needed my address (i must have forgotten to give it to him)LOL and two days later I checked my mail and there it was, FAST SHIPPING! I was suprized!..... Sorry to here your haveing a hard time getting your sample.

Good luck selling the carrier. :thumbup: I saw many people with those front carriers at the Houston Dog show in July. The dogs looked very cute and comfy in them. :)
I called the Mfg of Minksheen, told them how they are so popular among Yorkie Talk folks, (schmooze :D)... they got my address info, shortly received a sample! When I shampooed my 2, I actually saw a dead flea on Z :eek:! Jazzie didn't have any. I like the smell it leaves on the hair, and it feels nice to know they have added protection against fleas without the chemical effects.:thumbup:

Sorry, don't know if you looked at the date on this thread but it is from May 2007 - I was reading through the posts and the bottle has already been sold too. You might try going to the website they are talking about and requesting a sample though:) Good luck!

You can send an e-mail to the following address and request for a free sample of minksheen -- customer-service@touchofmink.com

All you have to do is request a sample and, of course, provide them with your name and address.

I sent an e-mail last week and got my free sample in just a few days.
