Your welcome. I actually thought about the samething that's why I read the label so well:p |
It is labeled as Cat and Dog use only, however I did "taste" it myself. (I was curious) :D I do however have a call in to find out its effects on human use...just so I can post that here. But it is labeled for pet use only. |

Sounds awsome, should order some !:D |
i just ordered some too.. hope it works on her. |
Is their any documentation to back up the claims made? Any research, vet statements? |
All I can say is it was formulated and created by a Vet and it WORKS! :) I have personal testimonials that it does work. I didn't even start using it myself until I knew it worked. She has a 6 year old yorkie...had never had a cleaning....teeth were brown and breath horrible. She started to use the product and after 6 months the brown was gone. She said she could still see a faint stain where all that plaque WAS but it was gone! Now after using it a year her girls teeth are WHITE. No dental...just using the Clean and Clear. And its SAFE. My pregnant moms and babies can drink the same water. I'm very impressed with the product and I'm seeing results myself and I have pictures. (If I didn't post them in this thread I will post them again) Bottom line is...the Cool & Clear Dental Care WORKS :thumbup::thumbup: (and I love it!!!!!! :p) |

hi, i have a question for you about this stuff you put in water. since sammy does not drink water on his own, i always add about 1/4 cup of water twice a day to his food. do you think i could make up a gallon of water with 6 capfuls and then add it everyday to his food? would thin be safe? his teet h are almost white, since i brush them every night. i also have 4 cats ,so i think this would be great for them too. thanks ahead of time for the information elle |

Just like mint mouthwashes can freshen breath for a short time, they are not meant to replace toothbrushing. There are some human mouthwashes that have been proven effective at softening tartar, but even those require tooth brushing. The manufacture of this product makes no claims to this, as a sales representative, you shouldn't either. Yorkies are known to be very prone to tartar build-up, and this can cause real heath problems if ignored. You are giving people a false sense of security by claiming this product does something that even the manufacture doesn't claim. People on YorkieTalk really trust other YT members to steer them in the right direction, and I don't know whether you have been mislead by someone, or know the truth, and simply wish to mislead. I would hate for someone to give up brushing their dogs teeth because you have led them to believe this product is effective at preventing tartar, and you even claim it takes it away. |
Breny I will soon be ordering this product as I have heard great things about it by several Yters who have already started using it. It sounds like a wonderful product! |
wow! sounds like a great product...going to take another look tomorrow when i am not sleepy here...thanks for offering! |
I just ordered this and can't wait to try it:D I've been using something similar from Petco, Four Paws brand, and it hasn't made much of a difference, I don't think:confused: But I know you use nothing but the very best for your babies, Bren, so I'm buying with confidence this time:D Thanks for letting us know about this stuff! |

So, so do we or don't we need to brush when using this? I was considering ordering, but if I still have to brush, I'll just get petzlife. |
I am a firm believer in brushing, as most of you already know. It has been two weeks since I started using this product and still brushing too. It's hard for me to say it's working because Bud's teeth are snow white to start so I will be watching like a hawk to make sure this does not change. I am also using Petzlife only once a week now until I feel sure Cool n Clear is working on it's own along with brushing. I will say that I swear he's drinking more water. I do smell a faint wiff of mint so maybe he's tasting it as well. |
i received mine a few days ago and lexi still didnt drink the water, just like i thought.. |
I, personally, am not brushing. Yucca is a natural cleansing agent, and in time will wear away the tarter. But it does Take time. You "can" brush along side of using the product..but I am not. My babies breath are all better :) I keep referring to this but my friends Yorkie...6 years old...never had a dental, never had a teeth brush, breath was horrible and teeth were brown. After 6 months of use the tarter was eaten away and a "stain" was still visible. After almost a year..the teeth were completely white! I honestly have all my babies on it AND my cats :) I AM seeing results so far with their breath!!! It does claim to be tasteless to them but they DO ghave minty fresh breath! :p |
I am still offering the Cool and Clear Dental Care for sale on my website! You can get a discount by selecting autoship!!!! Clothes, Beds, Healthy Food, Treats,
Grooming Products and Dental Care
for your Furbaby! | Pooch Potato Beds, Life's Abundance Pet foods, Dental Care |
I am very interested in trying this product. Brushing teeth around here is a pain in the *** and to be honest, just doesn't happen like I know it should. I did want to ask, does this stuff need to be added fresh to the water everyday or is it fine if it sets out overnight? I like the idea of keeping it premixed in the refrigerator and adding it as we need it, but is that a must? Also, how long does a bottle last? I'm just trying to figure out if the autoship is the route to go. Thanks! |

I use this along with the Petzlife gel and spray and so far so good. |
This tasteless, odorless liquid works in your pet’s water to freshen breath, naturally, without the use of artificial ingredients or harsh chemicals. It combines refreshing Peppermint oils with the cleansing action of Yucca to help neutralize offensive digestive tract odors that can contribute to bad breath, helping your pet to maintain a healthy and pleasant smelling mouth. Our Cool & Clear formula is a great way to supplement your home pet dental care routine. This is the same great product as “Daily Oral Care” but with a brand new name and a sleek new label. Says nothing about not brushing or tartar remover. Just pointing out the obvious.. in the ad. |
I use the similar product for daily maintainace but I still brush their teeth at least every other day. I just feel better when i brush their teeth. |
Hi is this product still available? |
Hello there - not sure if this is still available, but I have been using Tropiclean's Fresh Breath on Jack and have noticed a difference for the better. It is a gel that I put on his teeth just a couple times a week and it is taking the plaque off (I also "brush" his teeth - put doggy toothpaste on my finger and just rub my finger on his teeth.) |
I use healthymouth for Buster and it works great and is all natural dog::essential | Healthy Mouth LLC | the healthy choice for your dog, cat, horse |
Did you check on her website to see if its still available? This thread is from 2008 so it might not be. |
There is another thread by Breny, it looks like this product was discountinued. |
