| Faux Coach Carrier Pictures and Price Hi Guys. Well my Faux Coach Carrier arrived today and I am THRILLED. It is better then I could have expected and well worth the money. Let me give you the run down as promised. First let me say that I have never seen the real coach carrier in person BUT that this one is made very sturdy and I think other then a couple of little things people would have a hard time realizing it was a faux. The first difference that I see between the real and faux is that the lining is not pink. I actually like the lining on this one better. It has the satin gold/brown lining to match the outside. The second difference between the real and faux is that the trim on the faux is gold in color rather then the lighter trim as on the original. With that said I'll go on to size etc. The measurements on this carrier is 16.5 inches long by 12 high and about 8.5to 9 inches wide. The inside of the carrier is made of a satiny gold (Very elegant) and has a removable pad (Same material) On top it opens and shuts with a well made zipper and has a velcro closure on the side top as well. The outside of the carrier on one side has a nice pocket that can easily store treats, credit cards small wallet etc. Very roomy. What also like about it is it has a turn style button to open and close it rather then a snap. I find that over time the snaps give out and I'm hoping that the turn style button will last longer then the snaps. Looks like it should. The other side of the Carrier - is sold On one smaller side of the carrier you have the mesh window with a roll up or down window. What I like about it is again it's not made cheap with the little holes where you stick the material into and hope it stays. This one has straps that go in and close. I'm not good at explaining but I'll just say that they keep the window open or shut well. The mesh is made of material not metal as the LV's are but still made well. The material appears to be real "C" material although I'm not an expert on that. It does appear to be quite heavy duty though. The color is gold or a brownish gold in color with gold locks and gold handles and trim. It also comes with a tag that I think someone crafty could easily embroider or paint their pups name on. It has all the markings from what I see that the original has but more importanlty it really is a beautiful carrier and My Tia is thrilled with it. The cost is higher then the faux "C" carriers you see on Ebay but I've owned both and this one is def. well worth the difference in price. It appears that it will really last (I hope. LOL) It runs $210 shipped. Honestly I think it could easily go for $250 shipped but that's just me. I've attatched pictures. If anyone is interested in one I'd be more than happy to put one big order in but would need the $$ first before ordering for you. Also, since it is special order there is a no return policy. You can PM me if you are interested. Oh in so far as size goes Tia who is pictured in the carrier is 4 lbs. I also have a 10 pound Yorkie who is rather lengthy and she is in my oppionion a bit big for it. I think ideally a 4 lb. to 6 lb. pup would do well. Tia has a lot of room which is what I wanted since I may want to put a blanket in there for her. She's very comfortable in it. Elaine. |

| Just thought I'd post a link to an ebay auction that has the same faux carrier listed. It's got 19 bids and is at $225 - I guess the $210 shipped is a good price after all Elaine. http://cgi.ebay.com/Dog-Carrier-Coac...QQcmdZViewItem |
