| I Need Leash Advice I have two puppies that need to begin training on a leash. They have harnesses (that I purchased from recommendations here on YT), that they tolerate. I also have a bungee cord type connector that attaches to one leash. Can you say HOT MESS?? Do they each need a leash? Do I need to keep practicing with the connector attached to one leash? I'd love to hear what has worked well for you guys regarding leashes---thanks in advance! BTW: They are 6 months and 4 1/2 months old lpt |

| Your babies are just adorable. Until they are both trained how to walk properly on leash I would use individual leashes, holding one leash in each hand keeping them separated. Even on separate leashes it can be a hot mess but easier to untangle. When I had my pack of 3 all were on separate leashes. Your 4 1/2 mo old baby, is he/she finished with all vaccines. If not that puppy should not be walking outdoors.

| We use two leather leashes and two buddy-belt harness. At the hand-loop part of the leash, I connect them together with a carabiner, so I can hold both in one hand when needed. If it gets tangled or they tangle around me, I just detach it at the carabiner. I started doing this, because one time I accidentally let go of one leash while I was bending over picking up poop. Scared the crap out of me. With their leashes connected, I can let one go farther with the other closer to me, and vice versa.

| I use a leash for each dog. I normally use and love the buddy belts but am about to use the easy walk harnesses to teach the youngest two to walk on a leash. Then we will go back to out buddy belts.
