pet stairs Have any of you ordered those pet stairs that have been advertised on tv? if so how are they? the ones that you get 2 for the price of one. thanks. |
Try these out...I saw where a lot of YT'ers use these!! http://www.lakeside.com/details.asp?...&ST=KWD&SS=SOR |
Yes, Several YT members swear by these steps. They are made of foam so if you hit it with your toe, no problem. I have a ramp that my husband built and carpeted, but that's a bit more work, and it is a permanent installation so you can't move it around like these steps. |
We need some for the boys to get up on our bed too...every night I say I wish we had steps.... |
I need some stairs for Gucci also. My husband said he was going to make some for her, but we are still waiting. |

my husband made some for me a while back and they work perfectly. (he did a sloppy job of it) they looked horrible in the bed room and i am presently trying to recover them. I like to make as many things as possible because I am the 'queen of cheap but throught the years my ablilites are, should I say, steppin down. It seems my efferts are proving to be more costly than if I had bought them already made in the first place. |
I bought a set online and they were wya to steep. cali's rear would come over her head when she tried to go down. Spent 80.00 on them and they are now sitting in my crawl space. Then after I spend the money and throw away the box, my husband remembers he has the ones he made for my last Yorkie Gracie which are great and covered in the same carpet we have. Stairs are the best Cali never jumps down always uses the stairs. |
Maybe we should just install and elevator. LOL the expence i go to for these guys! it is getting out of hand. no pun intended. lol |
and can't spell to boot. |

I love those steps, thanks for posting about them. I think I see a set or two in my near future! |
I have them and love them!! Esp since they have washable cover, they are good for us, dont have to worry about lil broken legs at least not as much but hayley still thinks she can jump around like out cat  |
I have the foam stairs for Bridget and they are great! Except that she will only use them to get UP on the bed. She insists on jumping off the bed every time. Freaks me out. Any suggestions on how to get her to use the stairs to go down as well? |
I have both - the two for one set which are snap together plastic with a cloth cover and the foam steps which also have a cover. Both are equally functional - the foam ones were much more expensive $39.00 for one. The 2 for one are plastic so it hurts your toe a bit when you stub it on them, but they are pretty light in weight, so it's not too bad. The 2 for one are not exactly 2 for one - you have to pay shipping on both, so you pay 10.00 shipping for one set and 10.00 shipping for the "free" set so you end up paying $59.00 for 2 sets, which is still way cheaper than getting 2 foam sets for $39.00 each. Rowdy uses them 95% of the time - he does jump off the bed sometimes. |
