Soft, Pillowy, Snuggle Bed Recommendations??!!
 
Hi. I'm looking for a bed for my Chewbud. He (like all other Yorkies) likes to burrow and get all cozy; however, he has a tendancy to get hot. He also usually likes to have a bolster of some sort to prop his head up on! Can anyone recommend a comfortable bed for Chewy? Thanks so much! ~Shelby

hey i have the pink companion bed from petsmart. its like 20 bucks and its so ccute!.. here is the link to it. it comes with a blanket and a toyCompanion RoadŽ Puppy Bed Gift Sets - New Puppy Center - Dog - PetSmart

I have a TON of dog beds. But out of all of them, there is one that is their favorite and it is their snuggle ball bed. Great for burrowing, yet very soft and cushioned and the cover is made out of that silky fleece so it stays cool. You can do a google search and find them in several places.
Here is a picture of Hershey enjoying the bed...

I have that bed in pink and my Minnie loves it I also have two donut beds That she love's my Bingo won't sleep on a dog bed he has to sleep on one of our couch's or beds lol

i bought one at biglots for only 10.00 and she loves it. it rounded like a donut. the best $10 I've spent on her so far!

Hahaha!!!! That picture is a keeper.:D:D:D My dogs' favorite are cat beds. I have several of them. They tend to be smaller.

Velobabe: Beowulf's photo on his bed is absolutely hillarious...it's like one of those superimposed/touched-up photos that you see as a joke...only this one's real. I would love to see him getting onto it and teetering as he tries to get comfortable....You need to send that one in to Funniest Home Videos! That's for the great laugh!!!

I really would like to get a bed like that. Do you remember where you bought it? I found several snuggle ball beds but only one with the curly plush covering. The one I found is on Overstock.com and only comes in 3 pastel colors.

Just may have to take your advice and do that...! He circles a round in it, over and over and over again before he lays down...to funny to see!!:D:D:D

If you can sew, simplicity has a pattern for this cuddle bed. I made one for my little guy and he LOVES IT!!! I also got the same fabric, but in brown, it's adorable! It only cost me $25 to make it (fabric & pattern).

Thank you, that is a good idea. I really wanted one in brown or beige so it sort of goes with the living room. I need to buy some more fleece for the puppies anyway, so maybe a Jo-Ann's trip is in the cards. I wonder if they have that minky material. That would make a nice cuddle bed.

Here's a couple of pictures of my baby in the cuddle bed I made him.
They did have a fur type material at Jo-Ann's but it was very course. The material I used is very soft. I didn't see any mink.

There is also a guy on ebay that makes snuggle ball beds in a variety of fabrics and will even personalize them for you.

I bought two at Walgreens, both $10. But one was on sale for $6.99 when I got it! yay! Those are his favorite beds ever!! Soft, washable, and all different colors. He's got red and blue so far, lol

I have this bed for my dog and he uses it all the time. I like it because I can throw it in the washing machine and let it air dry.

It's not stuffed. The whole thing is kinda like a big sack and you roll the sides down to make a hole in the middle (a little confusing sorry). The inside is lined with the same fabric.
The pattern is a simplicity pattern #3906

Oh, he does that too! Every once in awhile he will attempt to crawl into our laps. I feel so bad for not allowing him too...like he'd fit...because we allow the little ones to cuddle in our laps. I thnk he feels left out :(

As for posting it in OT, I just might do that. It is a funny pic...LOL! :D

Thanks for all the ideas. I think I am going to try my hand at making a snuggle ball bed. But I better wait til the puppies are grown first. They are taking all my time .... that is why I am on here so much lately. I can just leave the site open and hop on for a few minutes here and there, because that is all I wind up having. Never enough time to really get in to a big project. I am afraid I am raising the most spoiled puppies in the world. Ah, well, I figure it is the same as kids, you have to spoil them little. Real life comes soon enough. Course with Yorkies, they never have to grow up!
