hahhaaha, yeah I KNOW what you mean! I didn't say mines were perfect little ladies either! Naboo is the worst, she will not only dance around you but she whines like there is no tomorrow! Squeekie will be so shy, she will hide behind you so we're twirling in a circle trying to get her into hers. But the Wookie boy, wow, he's so good. He will stay still until you are finished putting it on, then when your done, he will bite/tug your clothes to tell you to hurry it up already because he's ready to go NOW! :rolleyes:

I would love to see some pictures too. I am torn between choosing Puppia soft harness and ChokeFree. I can only budget for one and I want one that is functional. I guess they both are....I feel lost..which to choose?

I have the frog harness from Affordable Petable and he doesn't do well in it so I only let him wear it at home. It choked him as he pulls that hard. I hope the Puppia doesn't go that high up on the neck/shoulder.

You guys are all talking about pulling - have you tried the Easy Walk? Loki learned to walk nicely with one and I still love it.

Carol- the Puppia vest one I have has velcro AND a clip, so it's not just velcro. The velcro looks like that's the part that you adjust and then the clip makes it secure. I like velcro for Sammy but Loki is strong like Buddy and I can totally see why you would think it's not as secure.

There are so many on the market today it is difficult to make the right
choice. I have several and not happy with anyone really until this one.
It is very easy to put on. It goes over the head, room around the chest
too after it's on then band under the belly and snaps onto the back part
of the harness on the side. You can adjust the belly band but there is no
adjusting the neck. No bulk just softness and security all around.
Hopes this helps. It is easier to get on than the last step in harness I have
been using. He had to step first one leg, then the other buy that time
the first leg was out! After getting it on there were 2 D rings to clip the
lead onto andthat was a pain because with him twisting and turning around
it just became twisted also. I don't think you will be sorry with this purchase.
It's just comfortable and easy to use. Also washable.

Are there any YTers who make harnesses like this? I had a harness similar to these for my previous boy and LOVED it. I want to get one for Epsilon but would LOVE to purchase from a YTer. We currently use a step in harness from petsmart, but I think these types are much nicer.

So all you sewers out there... you should start making harnesses like this!! =D I'd be your first customer.

Ok, so I looked at my pictures that I promised you guys and the pictures did not really turn out good, I'll still post it but I also did a video.

Also a disclaimer: these pictures and video is intended for pure entertainment only and in no way trying to convince anyone to get any type of harness. You are free to get any type of harness you want. I did and I did not regret any of my decisions. (I do sell both puppia and chokefree ;)) hahaha J/K!!! Your babies are so adorable and I love Wookie and how he talks to you.
Adorable.
I have to say that anyone who has not experienced the soft harness
will think that with your female pulling like that it looks like it's pulling
against the neck. This is not so. It's pulling across the front of the chest
and no where near the neck. Just wanted everyone to know that and
not get confused about it.

Your welcome, anytime! My fav pic is the 3 amigos :D where all three of them are squished together when we walk. Squeekie of course gots to be in the middle :rolleyes:. Actually, Naboo is the talkative one, she was the one constantly talking when I was trying to put Wookie's harness on him, he's the one that is so patient.

I'm excited to be getting these for Ruby and Reno and hope they like them as much as I do.:)

Thank you! I have you down on my list already :D I love the colors you picked out and I'm ordering those colors too!

Believe me during their walk, they did not want to go home. Naboo pulled back a little when she saw our gate. hahahahaha

Opps sorry to confuse your little ones. I love how Naboo talks up a storm.
I should have realized it was the female:p I want to teach Buddy to speak
on command. That's our next challenge. We just finished "Find It" he got
really good at that. I love keeping his mind going and he so enjoy's it
too.
How do you walk three? You must have a system of somekind?

hahahha! Having them talk is tricky but you will usually understand what they want by the sounds, the eyes they give you and their posture. I'd like to think that I can understand anything Naboo tells me.

When you say Find It, do you mean that you say it and they go and look for the item? Or they whine when you say it? :eek:

Walking 3 is a challenge and I'm always trying to find creative ways to combine them or make it easier for me. But it never is, I'm usually the one that ends up getting tripped by all three or get tied up by the leashes when they break out running in different directions.
But so far, the long coupler that you see in the video and picture seem to work. I found a "Claw" Handle (with a doggie bag holder) in Target for like $10 and attach the coupler in that. You can see it from the pictures where my hubby is holding it.

I attach Naboo and Wookie in that one since they are closer in weights but Squeekie is kept in a separate leash because she's so tiny and can get squished or tangled with the bigger ones. Sometimes I let her leash drag when its safe because I trust her and she never wanders far.

Find It is a game I saw on Animal Planet. I have run out of things to teach
him and am always looking for new challenges for us to do.
Anyway, using a treat, I hide it close for him to see and he gets it. Each day over the last week I have made it harder and have gone into other rooms
while he is in a sit position in the living room. I go back, release him and he's
off like a blood hound going threw an airport. It's so much fun to watch him
sniffing threw the house until he finds it, eat's it and comes back for more.

Wookie that's a great sale and I want to personally thank you - I went to order from you and you gave me some advise that saved me MONEY ! I DO have a small pink for Cheri and a Medium for Chanel (puppia soft mesh) and am now using them -

so thank you Carol for posting this - and thank you Wook !! We have several harnesses that I really like (step-in's by Cindy) and now these ....today I tried the puppia again and had NO problems getting them on and they do stay off the necks.....:thumbup:

so thank you to YORKIECRAZY who gave me these months back :):) I feel better about walking the girls knowing you all gave them such good reviews !

ps !! IF ANYONE orders a Puppia harness - let wookie help you with sizing -

I would have ordered wrong off their (puppia's) size chart if she hadn't pm'd me to let me know they run large. So remember - the size chart on the real puppia site doesn't accurately size for these little guys. WOOKIE knows what she's talking about.

or pink :p since Cheri already has a cute pink one - I can get Chanel a matching one if you get them in .....so you have one customer waiting....patiently - for a MEDIUM Pink Soft Harness - (thank you again for the help !)

I believe Lily is in the borderline of small and medium but Puppia runs kinda large and the chest strap is also adjustable so I would recommend a small.

I do sell Puppia but my shipment of new Puppia Harnesses is still in process.

I use puppia's on my boy's the same one you bought, we have a few I'm trying to collect all the color's, I truely have not tryed a better harness They CANNOT slip out of it.
It's comfy,wellmade. Weird thing about sizing tho Brownie is 18 lbs & wear's a med, Austin who is 13 or so pd's wears a large. Austin has a HUGE chihuahua Chest .You must go by chest Not weight... if possible go to a boutique & try one on You don't have to buy it there Just go for sizing.
