| Wow for someone a dozen states away you are making an awful lot of assumptions based on media reporting. Maybe you are just taking your own feelings for the law enforcement proffessionals in this country and projecting them onto this situation. I think that you have a bad case of sour grapes.

Maybe as an innocent that never had the police come to my home...I haven't a clue where you are coming from and why you are making the statements you are making. Seems very strange to me...and I am glad the dogs were not left in the home alone...

| I think it's really pretty simple. It sounds like the dogs were seized because both parties were arrested. It wouldn't have been humane to leave the dogs there alone for who knows how long. |

| Tinkie, you certainly have a right to speak your opinion, but just tread a little slower. You're still a new member. Reading the board a little more and getting to know some members will give you a better idea of how long they've been here and how much they have contributed. You'll even get a idea of some of them think, lol Welcome to the board!!

| Hi I am new and from Omaha, I saw this on the news. Omaha is in Douglas county and there is a 3 dog limit and they are making a big deal of this as they just enacted a new dog law with pitt bulls. We have had several pit bull attacks and they have made very strict laws and have been very ???INTENSE! on the dogs. I saw the dogs and they looked healthy.... I know they will take 2 away from them, but they denied they had them when I called to find more info....the pups just looked scared and sad.... |

| Also I need to add, that there were 5 dogs, and it was our humane society, they were seized related to being over the 3 dog limit...(which I don"t agree too but I have lived here all my life) and they have strict pet laws. Also, I wonder that they may be following up more as within a few miles of this house some freaky woman killed her 12yo son and left him in the bathtub?? and the cops found him bound at the wrists and she had things set up for dismemberment. This whole thing led to finding out that this child had several attempts at having his mom followed up on and it was ignored and the kid fell through the crack and the mom killed him.....There has been several homes around here with hoarding found. It was all related to mental illness. They aren't trying to hurt the dogs, and it was so sad but they are trying to follow through... I guess it is just sad all the way around.... |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | You can have a dog and take it to the vet but if you don't register it with the city they won't know you have it. They would have to stumble on it/them or respond to complaint.
