| IMO - Iams is probably one of the worst brands to feed - It's WORSE than feeding McDonalds everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This company, from what I have read also conducts very horrid animal testing procedures. So that alone is the reason I would NEVER support such a company. Are you able to find a 'smaller' 'mom and pop' type of pet food store? These are the stores that carry the better brands. Canidae Merrick Solid Gold Nature's Variety Wellness Check out: www.dogfoodanalysis.com You want to get a food in the 5 to 4 start range (6 stars is too much protein). BTW I think Iams is a 1 star food - yuck! |

| editors Who has created this web site. I saw that these are the opinions of the editors but didn't see an info on who these editors are. Anyone can put up a website and anything on the web should be taken "with a grain of salt" IMO |

| Oh, are you talking about the dogfoodanalysis site? Yes, you are correct - we all have to educate ourselves and then decide how we each feel about what we've learned. IMO - Any dog food that has By Products (in any form of text) and Corn (in any form of text) - is pure crap (this would include Iams) |

| I wouldn't use Iams, I would check out that site that rates food! Iams is like a 1 star, and your dog needs to be 4-5 star. |

| I hate the commercial for this product. It just doesn't make any sense. The dog is at the dog park getting into trash and eating nasty stuff so the owner says that is why she feeds her dog healthy naturals. What does what you feed your dog and the nasty stuff your dog gets in to have to do with each other. My parents feed their yorkie regular IAMS, but I think it's a pretty low quality food. There are much much better ones out there.

Who would believe a testimonial from a woman who lets her dog eat out of a garbage can? | |

| I know...like her going home and feeding IAMS Healthy Naturals is going to somehow combat the garbage her dog just ate...

| I've never used this, but I think some people see these more popular brands advertised a lot and therefore think they must be good. You really need to read the ingredients on the side of the bag.

| Yep...have you ever noticed that NONE of the Premium brands advertise on TV?? I only ever see there ads in dog magazines. I've learned that if it's being advertised in a commercial on TV, it's not a good food...
