| First of all welcome to YT! Glad to have you here. There are many knowledgeable people here. As far a hair color changing - when they start growing out of puppyhood their hair on the head changes from black to silver or gray and then to tan or blonde. Their back hair should eventually (usually much later than the head hair) change from black to a steel blue, but some do go lighter looking almost sliver. Hope this helps!

| Oh I get it now! I was so lost while reading it.... I was like huh??? Thanks you. I'm Marrick btw... I don't have a dog, but I've had cats, fish, rabbits, turtles, raccons, snunk before. I am thinking of getting a yorkie but I have other breeds in mind. My mom isn't to sure about getting a Dog... she is on the fence. She used to be like NO NO all the time when I was little... so it's an improvement. Also marcerella I live in Ontario too! I live in toronto. |

| I've found that their hair changes color through out their lifetime. Yorkies can turn grey as they age but it is hard to see on the lighter colored yorkies. Bailey is 8 and is turning grey in the face. He is also getting some grey along his back which is solid black. His entire face was once reddish gold but you can now see that he has a grey goatee. Very distinguished looking don't ya think?
