| any safe cure for constipation??? I don't know 100% that maggie is constipated but she did have some trouble going poo this morning and I have a bad feeling that she is. I'm thinking it might be from the anesthesia from getting spayed. ?????? I have heard that giving them yogurt helps them go...is this true? Do you know of any other "home remedies"???

| My vet said Kalani would probably be constipated after the surgery also and just to give small meals the first day. He barely ate last night and had a small hard poop. But today I gave him his regular breakfast and then lunch of yogurt/cottage cheese/vitamins & fruit and he had a regular poop

| Howdy Dooooooo I give mine a full heaping teaspoon of pure pumpkin with a little canned food. (about two tablespoons of canned food) I always keep a can of pure pumpkin in my pantry just in case. It has worked great for my boys. I don't need to give it to them very often, but it works wonders when I do.........good luck!!!! This will really help your furbaby and mine like the pumpkin.

| So can pumpkin be used for both, constipation and loose stool? I've read both, but I just wanted to make sure. |
