Flea prevention Its getting to be that time of year  Just curious.....what do you use??? I tried Frontline last year and we didn't think it worked well. What about advantage??? I need to order something ASAP. I don;t want to have a problem this year! What works for you ? |
Breny I was an "advantage" user for years. It did a great job for us here keeping fleas away. I'm now using "revolution" for the added things it covers other than fleas. I always dred the "flea season" but haven't seen one in years so that's a good thing! I despise the little suckers. |
I use frontline on Phoebe work great never saw a flea, today I use revolution because it seems to cover other stuff will see;) |
We also use revalution, its done really well for us. |
I use Sentinel for fleas and heartworm/roundworm. I've found it effective for us - but my babies only go outside to quickly potty and for brief walks. I also use the SheaPet shampoo/conditioner which has essential oils known to repel fleas. |
I use Revolution because it does everything. Fleas, ticks, mites, heartworms too. |
Revolution is what we use, and it works really well :) |
we use k9 advantix.. i'd like to find something natural that works. |
revolution |
Can you purchase Revolution elsewhere besides your vet? My vet charges almost double for things that I've found online. |
Revolution is a bit more pricey than the others but I've found that it works really well. Flea season should hit hear around April/May and it gets REALLY bad but only for about a month. I also treat the yard and the borders really well. After about a month, the fleas are no more until next year. |
Yep, revolution costs a bit more, but if you take into consideration that it's also a heartworm preventive, the price works. You don't have to buy two different products such as heartguard and advantage, just one. :) |
We travel in our camper. Murfee has 37 thousand miles on him. We have used revolution and been very happy with it. He is in the woods a lot. |
when i went to get skoshi's shots it cost 23 dollars and that included the revolution. so i dont think they charge us too much for it. how much is it usually? |
I usually buy a years supply at a time and it costs about $125 |
