| Menu Foods did not immediately provide a full list of brand names and lot numbers covered by the recall, saying they would be posted on its Web site http://www.menufoods.com/recall early Saturday. Consumers with questions can call (866) 463-6738. If you click the link in the paragraph above, it will take you directly to the Menu Foods website. They have a link that lists all the brands of the recalled dog foods (you have to choose dog or cat). Click on the food and you'll get a spreadsheet that details all the product info for that brand.

| I don't feed mine canned but I have been giving them Nutro and Chicken Soup kibbles. All these recalls are upsetting, I'm going to get a couple books on homecooking 'today'. Yorkiedaze also had a recipe I'm definitely going to try. Last night I boiled up some chicken and my BF said I feed them better than I feed him - LOL!

| I'm sorry, maybe I did take what you posted the wrong way, but my point was to say instead of suggesting people "don't know any better" and then say it's a shame, i was suggesting you should help educate people on a better food choice. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i wasn't talking about the people on this site. Most people do not know anything about the foods we feed our yorkies and the foods that they find in wal-mart and the supermarket are good enough for those. Those are the people i'm talking about. Its hard to educate people who aren't on this site. your taking what i said way out of proportion, unless you yourself feed those foods and are offended by what i said. in that case, if you just simply do a search on food on YT you will find lots of good foods to feed our yorkies. Many people here feed chicken soup, canidae, wellness, Innova, etc.

even after seeing the info online about science diet i still called their toll-free consumer info number this morning and was told that none of their dog food is involved in the recall! i had to pick up romeo and give him a little hug after that.

Our furkids quit eating the Innova so I switched to Nutro a few months ago. This is sooo scary. It's hard to know what is safe anymore!! Human food is making people sick and our pet food is making our furkids sick.

| Nothing dry has been recalled yet, just pouches and cans. I'd watch for symptoms and check updates on recalled foods daily. I'm sure we'll all be happy to update everyone as more information becomes available, but for now don't worry! |
