Chicken soup question I am thinking of trying this. However I have an adult yorkie (3 years old) and my puppy (4 months old). Are these small bites? The website I am looking at doesn't say. It just says adult food or puppy food. What is the cheapest website that you guys have found to buy this dog food on. At what age can I feed my puppy adult food so I don't have to buy 2 bags. Right now she mostly eats the adult food anyway. She doesn't care much for the puppy food I get. |
I feed mine the puppy food and yes, it is very tiny bites. Because of Hoku's heart murmur the vet wants her to switch over to adult food sooner than Kalani so I am waiting for samples of that Canidae (sp?) since it's for all ages. Maybe that might work for you:) I don't know which website sells the Chicken Soup for less cause we have a pet store in Salt Lake that sells it. |
I would just feed them both puppy food |
Chicken Soup and Canidae are both great products!! My dogs have never been on Chicken Soup so I cannot tell you the size of the kibble. We have just recently switched our 2 from Canidae to Nature's Variety. There is actually a website where you can score your pet's food...if I can find it, I will PM you with it. I know that Chicken Soup scored above 100% and Canidae was 112%, Nature's Variety scored 129% and it has a small kibble. Tammy |
OH thanks! That would be great. Now let me ask this...This Canidae, how is it possible to give the right nutrition to a puppy and an adult dog with the same food? I will see if I can find samples for Canidae and see if they like it. |
You can feed them seperately. However, I feed mine from one bowl with the combined daily amount. The Canidae kibbles are not overly large but they are not the smallest either. Tammy |
