| Drinking My 3 month old female doesn't like to drink water. She isn't thrilled about drinking anything. Any suggestions? |

| Is it she doesn't want to get wet? Have you tried a water bottle? You could put a little sugar in the water.

| Thank you. I've been using a sryinge. She doesn't like it until she swallows the first little bit and then it goes much better but I will try the bottle idea. Is this normal? |

| Thanks. We've had her 16 days and she eats fine and seems happy enough so I will just take it she isn't a water gal. She pees plenty. Lol, 2 inches off the pad. |

| lol... well at least she is NEAR the pad... lol.... i wouldn't worry unless she starts to get lethargic... if you are worried anyways... go buy some pedialite and use a dropper and just squirt some in her mouth... that way she is at least being hydrated with something that has the electrolytes she needs.. but i htink she is ok... like i said.. on a good day layla drinks... i can't figure it out.. and pees like she has been drinking all day |

| Does she get a lot of canned/wet food? With the higher moisture content in wet foods they don't need to drink as much. |

| We just went through this when Willow had surgery on her broken leg. All of a sudden she didn't really want to eat and she didn't want to drink. I had to dip my finger in the water and then she licks it off and I do this a few times. Then I take my index finger and wiggle it in the water and she wants to lick my finger still and then she gets closer and closer to the water and then she drinks. Maybe our little trick will work for your little girl.

| As long as she is peeing and pooping regularly I would not worry. If you are feeding her food with a high moisture content then she is getting enough fluids. |
