| How long after neutering can they be groomed? Jackson is going in to be neutered tomorrow and I'm wondering how long I should wait before scheduling his next (well, first really) grooming appointment. I'm sure my vet will have input, but I'm just curious if there is a standard amount of time. I've always had females before and I think the procedure is more involved for them because they always stayed at the vet overnight...whereas Jackson will come home the same day.

| I would call your vet and ask them. Some vets put in dissolvable stitches and some put in stitches that have to be removed. Regardless, he will not be able to be groomed until the stitches have dissolved or are removed. I would just call your vet and ask them or ask them when you take him in for his neutering. |
