Is feeding milk an like yogurt ok for the yorkies?

Yogurt and Cottage cheese are both OK. Not sure about milk???????????

From the things I've read, milk and milk products are not really good for dogs, that it can cause direhera. Goat's milk is supposed to be better but, I don't see any serious harm if they are given in small quantities.

Jazzie gets vanilla ice cream every once in a while. I do buy crumbled goats cheese for her special dinners.

Cows milk can't be digested very well in YOrkies. Yoghurt is okay with some of my dogs but not many of them.
At weaning I use goats milk. I don't give any of my dogs milk after they are eating well and weaned.

My dogs have milk occasionally. It has never hurt them and they have never gotten diarrhea.

But - they don't drink a lot of it and don't get it very often

One thing they like occasionally - is to finish my cereal (with milk)......

Or a little to drink - if I want to empty the container so I can put it in the garbage.

I give My dogs yoqurt and cottage cheese all the time and on occasion some ice cream. I dont give them milk though I worry about their stools getting runny

My 2 don't get alot of milk, a lick off an icecream, or a little cottage cheese. They used to like yogurt, but not anymore. Piper likes a little piece of cheese once in a while. They like my soggy cheerios also.
