Layla is not eating Layla was spayed on wednesday and when she came home i fed her moist food because she didn't seem to have the energy to chew her hard food. since then she has had very little to eat of her dry food. Today i coudln't get her to eat it at all.. so i went to buy more moist food... am i just spoiling her?? will she eat her dry food when she is hungry enough or since she is recovering from surgery.. any food i can get in her is good?? any thoughts would be great.. i'm a first time mom and new at this stuff

| I would put a little moist with the dry and gradually cut the moist out...like feed her 2 teaspoons w/dry the first day, 1 teaspoon the 2nd day, 1/2 the third day...ween her off the moist...

I had the same problem and bought the Iams gravy. You should try them. I have never seen her eat 1/4 of a cup at one time until I bought these.

i just had a revelation :P i think her back molars are loose and that is why she isn't crazy about eating her hard food... so she will continue to be spoiled a little longer.. lol. but i really like the iams gravy idea for getting her back to her hard food.. i've seen it in the stores but never really knew what to do with it. thanks for the suggestion!

She is doing much better.. thank you for asking i started giving her wet food.. which she LOVES.. like crazy.. but she is also having some dry too.. her teeth are bothering her a bit.. so i think that is why she has been fussy.. well that and she was spayed 5 days ago!
