| You can get frontline at most petstores such as Petco and Pet Supplies Plus. The heart guard or any other heart worm medicine is sold only through your vet or you can get it online but you have to have a prescription for it.

| We had to switch from Frontline Plus because my bulldog developed a nasty tumor-looking thing between her shoulder blades, right where I applied the Frontline. Our vet did a biopsy and didn't really know what the heck caused it -- it was an inflamed lump. I mentioned that it was the place I applied Frontline and asked she said she didn't think that would cause it. I just thought it was too much of a coincidence. I stopped the Frontline, switched to K-9 Advantix, and the lump went away completely! I'm very pleased with Advantix. I buy mine from the Drs. Foster and Smith website. Julie |

| My vet put Piccolo on Revolution. It protects for everything but it's $ 20.00 a dose and I need 6 for him. Then I found this site :http://www.pets-megastore.com.au and bought a packet of 3 for $30.00. They sell all kind of flea, ticks, heartworm etc...products. And their prices are very good.

| I've never tried Frontline but I have heard of it. I use Advantage since my vet recommended it but yes, the prices are a bit high at the vet. |

| I am noticing Walmart carrying more and more Frontline type generic topicals at a much reduced price then the Vet. Anyone tested any of these out? Also, if anyone orders the meds online, how do you go about getting a prescription from your Vet? I noticed many vets where I live are big time sales people. |
