| Frontline Question/Help??? I use Frontline Plus. Roxy is approx. 4.7 lbs and TJ is approx. 5.7 lbs. I applied the Frontline last Wed. June 28, 2006 and I have been spliting the dosage (b/c the Frontline says it is good for dogs 11 - 22lbs.) Is that bad to do? I have found 2 ticks in the house (dead, I think), but this past Monday night my husband had a small one attached to his tummy area. We saved the tick and he is going to the doctor tomorrow. He is a landscaper and he told me that he has found a few on his cloths these past few weeks. I am so worried about Roxy and TJ. I think I should use the whole Frontline on each from now on!!! Can I put more on them tonight??? Like I said above, I applied 1/2 on each last week??? What should I do??? |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | don't put anymore on them right now. you don't want to over do it, but next month you can apply the whole tube to each. as for the dead ticks, frontline doesn't prevent the ticks from attaching to the dog, but it kills them the second they bite. frontline absorbs all over the body thru the skin so when a flea or tick bites your dog it is killed before it has a chance to endanger your pet or reproduce.

| I would call your vet and ask them. You can just ask them over the phone without having to take them in. Just call and tell them that you put half on them and now you want to put the other half. See what they say. They will be able to tell you better than I can |
