| Nutro Ultra food Hello, Has anyone tried Nutro Ultra puppy food??? I was at a pet store that I have never been to yesterday to pick up my normal Royal Canin puppy 33 and they did not carry it, only Nutro products. THe owner of the store was a great sales man to say the least and talked me into buying this. He said it is really healthy and great for my yorkie. I ended up buying it, but after brining it home, I'm skeptical on switching her food. She is 18 weeks and has never been on anything other than RC (from breeder), but I see many of you switch off, so it may not be too bad. He recommended that i put half the RC in with the Nutro first so that she gets used to it. Bottom line is, has anyone used this and if so, what did ya think??? Thanks!!

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Nutro I am using Nutro for Lex. When I got him he was on RC puppy food but it's a bit harder for me to find and I noticed his skin was a bit dry and itchy. So the vet said that it's probably due to the corn in the food. I got the Nutro and slowly over a week mixed it half and half to get him used to it. He has been on it now almost two months and is doing great. The dry skin and itchiness is gone. From what I saw the nutrients were the equivilant of each other when reading the two bags. The upside was that the nutro didn't have any corn in it. Good luck.

| Bailey has been Nutro, since he was 10 months old, it works well for us.

| I just bought the Nutro puppy canned food for Jaxon and will see how it goes. I still have him on RC 33 dry though. He was eating Science Diet canned but I've heard Nutro is much better for him.

| I switched Brutus to Nutro Max for puppies when we got him and he loved it! He eats the Nutro mini chunks now.
