| Interceptor I took my puppy for a heartworm test on Sat. and the vet just called me and said everything is OK so I can start him on the medication. He gave me Interceptor. Before I start it I just want to get some feedback. Does anyone else use it? If so, did your dog show any side effects to it? Will it cause any health problems in the long run? |

| I give it to all of mine and have never noticed any side effects. I do have to hide it in a yummy piece of food in order to get them to take though If they know it is there they will spit it out... the little turkeys! During the fall/winter months I often use Revolution for flea/tick and heartworm control. But I don't feel Revolution has strong enough tick control for spring and summer months so I use Frontline Plus during those months. Frontline doesn't contain the heartworm preventive so, while using the Frontline Plus I use Interceptor also. |

| My two yorkies are 9 and 10 years old and have been on it all their life. I have to crush it up in their food- I got tired of cramming it down their throats. They would spit it right back at me!! |

| Gucci is almost two she has been on since she was a puppy. I give her one tablet every month., the first of each month. I put it in a small piece of a cheese and she eats it right up. She never had any problems with the interceptor. |

| Max and Abbie have both been on Interceptor since they were about 4 months old and there have not been any side effects. I have to crush Max's pill and put it in peanut butter because he always spits pills out. Abbie's pill is in peanut butter also, but it's whole. She eats anything

| I gave my little furbaby his first Interceptor pill last night and he spit it out. So I had to wrap a little piece of salami around it and he ate it. He also loves bread so next month I will try to hide it in a piece of bread. |

| Interceptor Sadie has been on Interceptor and does fine. My lab (Maddie) takes it all the time too. I just gave them their pills yesterday and both ate it like it was a treat. Such good puppies. I use Advantix for the fleas, ticks and mosquitoes. |

| Bella just took her second Interceptor pill yesterday...I had to hide it in cheese this time because she spit it out. First month, she vomited right after taking it. I called the vet and they gave me another pill and she was fine with that, so who knows...but no problems so far.
