| Another Question I looked at the cans of Puppy Plate that I ordered from Merricks...and I've read a lot about doggies eating too much and vomiting...so how much do I give a puppy? Is it okay to put it in little containers and freeze it? It seems like an awefully big can since I do not intend to feed all canned food. I will feed dry to hopefully not harm the teeth... I appreciate your help. Thank you. Bren

| I think you can look at the can/bag to see how much to feed, when we fed Tucker a prescription food that was canned we covered the portion not used and kept it in the refridgerator. Also, to save time sometimes I would prepare 2 or 3 cans at a time into small tupperware containers to just warm at feeding time. But dry food is better for their teeth because it keeps them from getting tooth decay and infection. Hope this helps

| I freeze wet food. My two girls only get a teaspoon of wet food mixed with their kibble, so a large can lasts too long for me to be comfortable that it's not started to go bad. So I always take half the can and freeze it. Apparently it doesn't bother the flavor as the girls still chow it down.

| Thank you... I just sort of stared at the cans when they came... It was funny... My brain just couldn't work with 13oz... 13oz? For such a small puppy?? : ) Bren
