| Yearly Exams...Good News for All! Today was annual exam day. Took all three to see their friend, Dr. Segota, to get their heartworm tests and annual exams. Tyrone, our "tiny" parti, is three now...AND NINE POUNDS! He is in perfect shape though, and has finally gotten control over his frequent early bouts of colitis. Gus will be three on Christmas Eve, and is a solid little man at six pounds. This has been his only visit to the vet all year...he is a healthy boy! Beauregard the poodle will be twelve in a few weeks. He is five pounds, and a little frail, but in very good shape for his age. Since he was declared unfit for sale as a puppy due to various ailments, and we were his fourth owner in his first seven months of life, we are very pleased that he still has a good quality of life. With the cooler weather, he enjoys going out by the pool to hunt lizards in the gardens. Great way to enter the holidays with clean bills of health!

| Thanks everyone. Four years ago we lost two of our babies, at a young age, to unexpected circumstances (severe collapsing trachea event, and being unable to come out of anesthesia when neutered). Since then every trip to the vet still creates stress. Getting a really good report on everyone is truly a relief!

| It's always scary going to the vet. Out little babies can be so fragile (despite acting super tough). Glad to hear all the results were good and all clean bills of health!

Senior Yorkie Talker | I also do yearly exams for my 3 yorkies . They get rabies and the preventive . My vet doesn't do heartworm check since I keep mine on the multi advantage. Should I still have that done too |

| I never had the tests done yearly since they never missed a dose, but now Florida vets do not prescribe without a yearly test. When we lived in NY state we had to have them done annually too.

| You should have them checked for heart worms yearly even when on preventive because there is a tiny chance it could happen.

| I just made an appointment for annuals for two of my dogs and they have a new wellness bundle that includes unite, fecal and blood tests, all for $125, much cheaper than having the tests done individually. I jumped to the opportunity. Gew |
