Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I don't feed kibble bc I prefer their food to be less processed...in a more natural state. I've been feeding raw for about 11 years now and love it. I've used Primal, Natures Variety, Sojos, Stella's etc -- all great brands. So easy to feed too!

| For the first year, Cosmo was eating Petcurean Now Fresh Grain Free Puppy. He's now eating Petcurean GO! Sensitivity and Shine Grain Free Turkey. Thinking about switching to raw as he barely eats his kibble at all. I usually end up giving him chopped fruit & veggies and baked chicken, steak, or shrimp (whatever we happen to be eating, I just make an extra portion for him without the seasonings.) He is very picky and I'm bad for giving in to him when I'm preparing my own meals. |

I don't mind cooking for him at all, so I'll check out balanceit.com. What supplements do you use? | |

If you try the raw, some better pet food stores will carry sample bags of Primal or Natures Variety. You'd want the "nuggets" bc they're the perfect size for small dogs (each nugget = 1oz). Or, like Taylor said - if you want to make a homecooked diet - then most definitely get a balanced diet recipe from BalanceIt bc if the diet is not balanced properly for a dog, it can result in health problems down the line.
