Yorkiemom- what do your dogs eat? Ladies, how are your pups doing on the kefir? Are you using it because you have a higher carbohydrate diet or more as a digestive supplement for general support? I would love to hear your feed back if you would

Thanks. I love to give him healthy treats. benefit the coat is a big plus ! I am going to try it. See if my picky boy will eat it.

The kefir that looks like cottage cheese still have the grains in it. I used to make my own, but left the grains in CA. I didn't think it would survive the 4+hr car ride. I gotta get some more.

Never thought of giving it to the dogs. But just heard that you can give kombucha to dogs too!

It tastes a lot like greek yogurt, but I prefer the taste of Fage. In the future I'm going to buy flavored for myself and plain for Lola.

Lola doesn't have stomach problems but I do, hopefully it'll help.

How long does it last before it goes bad? I don't like yogurt so it would just be for Coco to eat by herself.

It's probably best to give it to them soaked...I just give it to them out of the bag. I currently have some raw goat's milk for them, so I sprinkle it in there & they lap it up!

A lot of people here gagged when I told them about kombucha LOL. But, it's very good, tart, fizzy, fruity, and good for you! If you are interested, I have kombucha scobies here. I can send you one if you'd like. Every time you brew a batch, the scoby doubles, so after a while, you have a lot!
