| Puppy pad advice Hello, I do not use puppy pads all the time. Only when I leave Vinny and Penelope alone for errands. The last puppy pads I purchased were Mednet 17x23 (with the black and white border collie on the bag.) When I went to purchase more it seems as tho the price has gone up again $49.99 @ Amazon. Before tax and shipping. What brands do others use, what is the quality (in other words do they leak?) What do you pay? I would appreciate any comments, advice, ect. It seems silly to pay so/to much for something that is used once and thrown away. If there are cheaper ones that are just as good, I would like to know. Thanks Sienna Penelope Vinny : Amber AshleyEmily Sisi |

| I use mainly washables, but sometimes a disposable one on top, the people variety at WalMart... but I can't remember what I paid... maybe .50 a pad?

| I did notice 't bumpkins washable piddle pads' keeps catching my eye at the bottom of a nice ladies signature here on Yt. We use a pad tray and we clean it regularly so leaking has not been an issue for us. Mostly we have used top paw from pet smart. We were using one brand for a while, I think it was hartz?, it was at wal mart and it responded like a diaper when it got wet and I felt really good about it at first but then it seemed like the backing was leaking through (he he, maybe that's when we decided we needed a piddle pad tray!) and so we went back to top paw. Top paw has never been that amazing but I have tried some cruddy ones here and there (that white package...can't remember the name worst potty pads ever, like tissue paper) and the top paw ones do meet a reasonable standard of expectations for me. Two packages ago though (little packages that is) I tried some less expensive ones I saw at Fred Meyer called wee wee pads by four paws (just so happens to be a brand I can order through my work too) and so far I am reasonably happy with them. Plus they have a buy ten get one free thing. I liked the afore post suggestion to get human chuck pads, maybe I will do that. Or since lilah thinks bath mats are potty pads anyway maybe I will just go for it and get washables. Fifty dollars is a lot for a square of paper to pee on.

YT 2000 Club Member | dog Hi Sienna! You are up in Vista and I am down in Santee! I know you have a Walmart up in Vista. I get my pee pee pads from them. Seems to be the cheapest. Check Walmart prices. Also we have a Home Goods in El Cajon that sells them. I know they can be expensive but not as much as pee on the furniture and having to replace that stuff. |
