| anyone feed canidae or Earhborn Well...the boys are finally getting sick of their canned Wellness and they refuse to eat dry so now I am on the search for some new food to at least start mixing in with their Wellness. Does anyone feed Canidae?? I bought a can of the life stages platinum formula on a whim today to see if they like it. The other I haven't tried is Earthborn Holisitic. My step mom feeds their cat food. It's pretty pricey for the canned food but I was thinking of trying it. Weurva was the other food I was thinking of trying, but I need to find a company that carries it. |

| I used to feed Canidae and was very happy with it UNTIL they changed the formula. The food's quality was reduced and it seemed there was a price increase every time I drove the 40 miles to pick up a bag. |

| We rotate a lot of different wet foods. I've fed the Earthborn moist entrees in the tubs and think they're really good. Toki did well on them...I would feed her one tub a day split into two meals. It's kinda pricey but I grab them when they're on sale...unfortunately it's still $2.25 per tub...you can get a slightly better deal on Chewy.com. Innova's Farmhouse stews and Natural Balance Stews are the same style and I can find them for a little cheaper than the Earthborn locally (you can also find those at big box stores unlike the EB). And for Weruva, also getting online from Chewy is cheaper than getting it locally for me. Nature's Recipe has some shredded entree tubs that look similar to the Weruva but are cheaper and would be a good option especially if you're just mixing it in with other food (we stock up on them when they're $1/tray). Right now we're going through a couple cases of Whole Earth Farms which is Merrick's more cost-friendly line (you can get it at Petco) and Toki's been doing great with that. She eats it for both meals and Teddy gets some mixed into his kibble and both pups enjoy it! I haven't fed Canidae so I can't offer any experience with that. Good luck with finding something your pups will enjoy! |

| I am currently feeding weruva canned, mostly chicken varieties. I mix it with Earthborn kibble. It seems to be working pretty well for us. I also use Real Meat pet food and ziwipeak. At this point in time, Lexi is liking the ziwipeak best. It is pretty speedy, but she likes it a lot and she doesn't eat that much. |

| I have heard a few complaints for canidae since they changed their bags and claimed not to have changed their formula but um yea..I'm thinkin they did. I noticed this last fall some dissatisfaction rolling in and I followed up with some interne research and realized it was not just a few folks but many, darned shame.

| I bought the canned Canidae...not the dry. I'd have to think if their quality control went down on their dry, it would go down on their canned as well. I've got to find Weurva in my area. I've wanted to try it for a while now and I don't want to order a case of it online in case my picky little guys turn their noses up at it. |

| I use the Earthborn tubs of wet food to mix with his dry and have with great luck! Their grain-free dry food is often filled with peas, pea protein, etc, and very high in ash, so I wouldn't personally feed most of the GF formulas.

| Canidae used to be a good brand until they started having Diamond make their foods. That's when the "formula change" happened and dogs started getting sick on it. After that, the popularity of Canidae really declined. I had heard that Canidae recently started making their own food again, but I don't know if that has happened for sure. I have heard pretty good things about Earthborn. Most people that use it seem to like it. I would probably choose Earthborn over Canidae, especially if Diamond still makes any of Canidae's foods.
