| Yogurt is often given to supply probiotics, but unless they are added *after* the pasteurization process, the bacteria are killed in that process. That can be difficult to determine. It is usually better to add a good quality probiotic separately as milk can be a problem for many dogs. |

| I'm all for probiotics, I keep one in the fridge at all times, any sign of an upset tummy, cos the buggers sometimes get something off the ground and eat it before I can catch them, it's in their food for a day along with slippery elm and voila back to normal |
