| Dry food for pancreatitis My Kiri (3 years old, spayed) was diagnosed with pancreatitis about a month ago. Vet bills are already over $600. I think it's not too severe. The vomiting has stopped and less yuck is coming out when she poops. However, the vet put her on Hills i/D and of course she hates it. This is a dog who gobbles everything, but she will NOT eat the i/D. I hate Hills anyway, as a rule, but I trust my vet, so I thought I'd give it a try. Anyone out there with a little one with this condition who feeds dry food? Please, please, what do you use? I am desperate, and I don't want her to be sick again. Thanks. Sandy

| Yes, many of us have pancreatitis pups. If the stool is not back to normal I'd have to wk see of this is still an active case. No OTC kibble is appropriate for this in a breed prone to recurrence because the companies that offer foods that look acceptable may not be providing a consistent product. Royal Canin LF Purina EN Purina HA (this is what mine eats but she has many other issues.) Homecooking (great option if you don't like dog food companies.)
