| Worried I have a 9 month old Yorkie....today when she went pee in the snow, it looked brown to me. I waited an hour, took her out again and it still appeared brown. The next few hours it appeared very light yellow in color...tonight I couldn't really check because it's dark out. She had her heat cycle in December, so it's not that. I'm very, very worried. I pray it's not her liver. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Today is the first day she has ever had this. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would try and get a urine sample to your vet to see if she has a urinary tract infection or if you can get her into the vet to be checked out. Is she peeing more than usual? Hopefully it is something that can easily be fixed. Please keep us posted.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Is it the first pee of the morning? If so, that pee can be very concentrated; it shouldn't really be brown (as in a regular medium brown). If it's the 1st pee, next time take a camera or cell w/ you and take a piccie of it so that you can show the vet. If you can get a sample, great. Her other pees sound like a good color.
