Keep us posted on how it goes with CC. Hopefully when they correct their site mistakes, they'll also re-write their claims about protein and liver/kidneys.

| I'm just not understanding how a food can exceed AAFCO standards. Yes, it can exceed minimum requirements, but that doesn't make it clear whether it exceeds maximum requirements. It would be good if they could provide a list of fiods that are legally able (and do) carry the AAFCO statement on the bag. I'd be interested in talking to them, but that isn't an option right now. Maybe next week. Just moved and there is so muchto unpack still. Shouldn't even be on yt, but...I'm being lazy.

>>Wilderness Grain Free ALS Dinner is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutritient Profiles for All Life Stages.<< I think, when you have time, it would be worth your while to give them a call and ask your questions...if for no other reason than to satisfy curiosity or interest in feeding their foods.

The canned venison that I bought is for supplemental feeding only...to be mixed with dry (give a bit less dry and a little water, once you ad the canned it can change the amount of protein in the meal), a veggie mix or given as a treat. The canned is not nutritionally complete because it's just the protein source...I was told the dry foods are nutritionally complete. I would imagine all of their canned varieties are for supplemental feeding only but I would ask the company to be sure. I don't know when their website will be done but it will be nice to see all of the updated information in print.

YT 2000 Club Member | I just started using CC, Their special needs formula is AAFCO according to the bag and the Turkey canned formula has the guar, so im pretty positive the company as fixed their mistakes. My dogs seem to be enjoying the food. They are also very good about answering questions thru the FB page. Thanks for all the info, its been interesting to read.

| Wish they didn't change the kibble size. The first bag we got was smaller kindles. This kibbles are flat and larger. She won't eat it. Might exchange it for a different flavor. |

| I have a question. How do you get Canine Caviar to send you samples? I called yesterday, and was told by customer service that they do not send out samples, that I have to go thru a distributer in my area. Unfortunately, there is no distributer or retailer in my neck of the woods. I really want to try this food out before I buy a whole bag and my boys not eat it! Frustrated, to say the least! |

Btw, you mentioning kibble made me wonder...what are all the forms CC comes in, again? Is it kibble and canned? Or do they also have like freeze dried and whatnot? If they make treats as well, have you tried them yet? (not you personally , but your dogs)
